i feel so weird leaving a comment and trying to get in touch with the band.... because the chances of it being seen are like... slim to none... but i'm going to try anyway.



I definitely think the band should at least consider re-recording the songs that they changed around when they tour. like Conspiracy and Emergency and Let The Flames Begin because i like the different intros, especially the "Bamboozle" intro to LTFB.

i mean, it doesn't have to be studio-quality
just something better than youtube-video quality

I am an international field service engineer for the electrical power industry, who also happens to be a native of Nashville. I was just on assignment in Sevastopol, Ukraine, working with our Russian group for a few days. Some of my Russian friends invited me over for dinner, and it is traditional to bring a small gift when you are a guest in someone's home. So, having not much else to offer, I put together some MP3's of Nashville musicians, since nobody in Sevastopol had any idea where Nashville even was, much less about our musical heritage. I had a recording of Hank Sr.'s debut on the Opry, Some Patsy Cline, some modern stuff by Union Station, and a few other Country tracks. But I figured I'd be balanced and burned Misery Business and Crushcrush onto the Cd. After all, there is more to my beloved home city than just Country. Anyway, during dinner my host popped the Cd into the player and everyone was nodding politely to this strange American music. Then Misery Business came on. My host's 15 year old daughter jumped up, pointed at the stereo, and screamed "Krasnaya Dyevichka...Krasnaya Dyevicha!!!" Roughly translated, that means "Pretty little red-haired girl". The older folks may have been holding their ears, but the young lady knew EXACTLY who Paramore, and Hayley in particular, were. She even brought out some Euro music magazines with Paramore pics in them to show me. Anyway, when I went in to work the next morning,
"Misery Business" was blaring over the PA and I got to see the hilarious sight of 15 middle-aged Russian technicians headbanging to your music. It was truly priceless. So, in one small, far away part of the world, Nashville's most famous export is...Paramore. I thought you might enjoy that. And if I make it home I'll see you guys live at Riverfront park in May.
