am i a baby for jst crying as i read this???

i know it's a little late, but i can tell you that personally, i believe in myself more than anything else. it pushes me to do everything i want to do, and do it well. i think if you don't believe in yourself, nobody will do it, and that would suck. obviously, nobody's perfect, so you have to be able to hear somebody else's advices, take them or leave them, and decide what's better for you.
about religion, i think it's good to believe that there's a god that wants us to be as best as we can in life, and you feel better leaving yourself in his hands in those moments when you can't do anything else to solve your problems.
if you wanna know what i do, i'll tell you i mostly think a lot. when i'm anxious or nervous about something (a test, a show or something that MUST end up well) i consider praying, just to relax and meditate. that doesn't mean i can't accept other people's way to face this kind of situations, and i liked your comment about being open minded. i think you try to help your fans with your experience, that rules.

I don't know if I believe in God or not, I believe that there's something waiting for us when will die, and this something is in heaven. I believe that heaven is a place that is different for everyone. I think I believe in love, in friendship, in music, in writing (it sounds weird, but it's true). I'm not in a specific religion.

But you're right, Hayley, there's a huge importance in keeping your mind wide open to see life with thousands of different point of view.

I know my mother wouldn't- bless her heart. Different strokes for different folks- some of my very closest friends are of all different beliefs and backgrounds and such than I am. And I'm thankful for it- I learn a lot. THANK YOU for being you, Hayley. It means a lot to me.

im glad to see that you guys are christians just like me! i had just recently got into your music and when i found out you guys believed in god i was thrilled! i dont know if youve heard about the illuminati rumors going around but its going around that you guys are in the illuminati. if you coul;d clear the rumors that would be great so i can continue to encourage my friends to listen to you thanks!!!

Hey Hayley, i just wanted to let you know that i'm 14 and i've been listening to you guys since i was 12, of course i didn't really understand much of the lyrics at that time but i just wanted to say that your songs have helped me through so many rough times and when i felt like i had no body or i was alone and i didn't have an answer, believe it or not your songs gave me the answer, the inspiration, and the motivation do whatever i wanted to do. i'm a girl so i'm always pressured about my looks and lots of other things in my life and some of the things Hayley has said about that has really helped. i love Josh, Jeremy, Zac, Taylor, and you.
it's really hard growing up in a house where music isn't allowed because it's all i really want to do. i wish i could come to your show in Dallas in September. but that's not going to happen so i really want to say good luck and thank you so much for making music we will remember forever. PARAMORE

I'm guessing the throat thing is over and done with, but the God thing is never over and done with. We may be of different faith, but I know you put your heart into the same thing I do. Whatever we call God or how we describe Him is all window-dressing for what we know in our hearts to be true. That's what makes music so universal: It evokes beyond what any linguistic means of communication can, and with vocals, you combine the universal language with the local, and - VIOLA! - instant mass connection. I've just begun that process of enjoying myself (and believing in myself in the first place), and the world's a lot brighter (occasionally, that light is a bit painful, but it's all worth it - I do remember what it was like to shut down, more than most people would ever be able to gather from my usual demeanor.). Never give up. Headbang when necessary. :)

In the 23 years I've been on this Earth, I've met many people who many different religious faiths and many people who are non-religious (Atheist, Agnost etc). Personally I'm an Agnostic Atheist who tries to keep an open mind.

My fiance is a Lutheran Christian while my family are non-denominational and I've had friends who were mixed of previously mentioned. This reminds me of when I was in college studying Contemporary Popular Music and was in a band with my long time best friend. All of us had different beliefs or lack there of, basically split down the middle in terms of religion or lack there of....there's only one thing that we kept in mind and that was to respect one another, let nothing get in the way of the music and our love for it.

So I guess my answer to you Hayley is that it might not of been all that different and it doesn't make me mad or offend me if there's some one who believes something different to me as well as does something different to me...I find it fascinating more than anything and sometimes like to have a rational, calm debate.

From day one of listening to your music I was fully aware from lyrics of yours and the rest of the band's faith but that didn't put me off because ultimately I'm in it for the music all the way!

Paramore's music is inspirational and any show of faith is admirable as well as your vocals being amazing.

Hey Haley, that was really inspirational, and not only do i love your music but i love that you can share the word of God with people around you and who are inspired by you that they also may believe in God. You opened your mind to different views that people have and thats special since most people dont take the time to listen to one another. It also gives you a chance to see yourself in a different light as well. Im going through a rough time right now and this really helped me out and showed me how God can work with people in diffferent ways.You guys are an amazing band and are all awesome! god really love your band...for he used you guys to touched the lives of many people in the world take note in the whole world not only where you grown up (franklin)... i know there are still a lot of things coming out from your mind and a lot of songs to be sing by you together with your band...
