    I'm sure by now the majority of you know what this is.

    You're more than welcome, unless you;

    • don't like us. Many on here don't, and I'm not sure why. We're nice people, just like everybody else.
    • spel n tipe lyk dis. It's retarded and annoying.
    • would like to point out that there's "a chat on the homepage". We know, aren't interested and have already had our fun with those lot.
    • are thinking about posting a link and then leaving. Not even one of us is ever going to click on it.
    • want us to spread the word about Paramore coming to your country. Honestly? Couldn't possibly care less whether they're in your country or not.

Hey :} What's going on here? The format of the comments are really weird.

@Em In december. Yes, please, it will be really nice having a friend there!

Easter is coming! I can't wait to scratch my legs and arms because of this chocolate allergy.

@Luci. NO ME GUSTA
Although I'm enjoying the font I'm typing in.

Sigh. Hoping that the PWC sort this out soonish.

@Kalie:

In the second movie, when Po is starting to remember the last memories of his mother leaving him in the basket with all the radishes.

I dunno. There was something emotionally pulling about that scene. *shrugs*

@Dick:

*shrugs* Dunno, really. I don't keep an eye on that sorta thing, heh :D

Wait a second. I'm not going to judge, but I'm curious as to what part in Kung Fu Panda had you teary-eyed? :3

My html doesn't seem to be working either. Did the views/comment number and profile comments disappear for anyone else too?

What the ballsack happened to the site?
It looks like actual shit and it functions like it too.

Sigh. *adds to list of why I don't bother here anymore*

Lacking Grace's picture

I hate this format. So far. I guess cause it's so different. My picture won't come up!! Goodness. I am frustrated.

Mattrocks's picture

Well...

The new format of the site is pretty confusing. I can't change my pic back to where it was :l

What the hell happened? *scratches head*

Mattrocks's picture

@Kalie:

Well, then, looks like I'll be a bit more excited to see it, then :D

And thanks for the heads up - last time I ended up getting a little teary-eyed in a movie was admittedly during Kung Fu Panda 2. I wonder if The Hunger Games will have the same effect :D

@Martin:

Hullo to you, too :D

Lacking Grace's picture

@Martin

Haha, I will do that. He'll probably be like, "What do you want?"

Yeah, I'm feeling the love. But I really do like hanging out with my Dad. He and I go to mivies and take motorcycle rides.

I remember when I was 12, my dad took me on his bike for the first time. We rode all the way out to Kentucky and stopped at the vintage Soda Shop and we both got Moose Tracks milkshakes and split a grilled cheese. My hands got really cold since we were going so fast, so my Dad let me wear his gloves on the way back.

But even though my hands were cold, the Sun was warm on my cheeks. I love watching the bare trees roll by, sunlight blinking in the branches. And it always smelled like the cows that were graving in the field neaby. Mmm... Good times.

@Dick This is a pretty good show, if your busy social calendar is open that night: http://www.pollstar.com/event/1791202&source=psartist

P.S. Thanks for the Paul Rodgers link. I know that was for me, but everyone will appreciate the excellent gold-standard rock n roll.

@Grace I would call you Kalie, but I forget. :-( Give your dad a spontaneous hug for no reason. Dads like that. Moms too, actually.

@Rocks Hai!

@Mattrocks

Coming from one of the estimated BAJILLION fans of the series itself, I can say that my exciting journey was definetly worth it. The movie, for the most part, stuck to the story.

And was so happy while I was watching when the characters said something I recognized from the book. Especially Peeta. Whenever Peeta said something in the book, my heart skipped a beat. So when I heard his charater repeat that, I had to remember my dad was sitting right next to me not to completly embarrass myself.

And I cried a little bit. Just a heads up. :'(

Mattrocks's picture

@Kalie:

*bows*

Heh, no problem :D I make it a point to try to remember and use everyone's names, although it's substantially easier when you did use it in your comment and that it's also on your Profile (I also make it a habit to look at the Profiles of anyone I'm replying to) :D

And, well, not being good with confrontation may not necessarily be a bad thing. It sometimes helps with creating peace.

That said, sometimes the opposite direction is best, too - sometimes, just speaking what you feel can help people realize what you're really feeling and get to the bottom of situations, although it's best done when you know you have control of the situation.

And yeah, teachers who are like that are kinda hard to come by, though. Cherish having a teacher like that - and I mean it. As cliche as it sounds, you never know just what you have until it's gone - although it does help make us appreciate the small things in life :D

If I may, as exciting and interesting as the journey to get to the movie was, how was the movie? I still have yet to see it (parents have dibs on it so I'm probably seeing it next week), but everyone's saying it's great :D

Lacking Grace's picture

@ Mattrocks

First of all, I am moved that you are the only one who remembered my name! Thank you, I appreciate that!

And yeah, I have a new outlook on life and this past few months have been different in the sense that I notice when I'm open to whatever comes my way, it typically turns out to be pretty rewarding.

It's a nice sercurity to have, considering how young and naive I am.

And I LOVE my teacher. (And, duh, my dad) Since she teachs all the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in PASS, I am blessed to have had her for three years! WOOT WOOT!! So, yeah. We're pretty close by now.

When you have to see someone everyday for that long, you have a choice. They either become your worst enemy or best friend.

Let's just say, I'm not good with confrontation... :P

I've finally got my 150-pound weight vest! And it's great :D I'll try to see if I can take pics.

Problem is, it's made up of X2 75 pound weight vests, and they're both pretty bulky. Gonna look more weird than usual when I take the bus to school. *shrugs*

It ain't a perfect world. Ah well.

So, anyhow, how's everyone doing?

@Kalie:

That's great :D Your dad and your teacher's pretty awesome to do that for ya :D

See, it's times like these that further prove that sometimes, life is indeed stranger (or more interesting) that fiction :D

@Luci I just shared with all my statistician friends. Will let you know what they think.

"Military Intelligence" is another potential oxymoron (well, that's what my brother-in-law says... he was Signal Corps for 20 years).

@Grace
I love oxymorons. It sounds weird, but I kind of try and sneak in every day conversations. My favorites are "jumbo shrimp" and "distant relative."

@Dick and Martin
Thanks. :)

@Luci That's a very pleasant playlist.

@Dick Funny, I just wrote a Billy Joel parody song for work last week, based on this one: http://youtu.be/p0iOEOtSyB0

Actually, this is on my spring playlist... http://youtu.be/v5VXqHARqFA

Oh, and the Hunger Games soundtrack is growing on me.

P.S. That MSI show looks pretty great; sorry I didn't decide to get tickets for that coming up in SF -- I never paid enough attention to them.
