So, when Airplanes first came out, I was in love with it, and not just because Hayley was in it. It was my favorite song for a little while! But anyone who listens to Top 40 radio stations like me knows how overplayed that song, along with Airplanes Part II is! Every other song is Airplanes!
Same thing with The Only Exception. I didn't like it as much when it came out, then I loved it, but now I don't like it AS much since they started playing it on the radio 24/7! I like it more than Airplanes at this point, but I've heard it so many friggin' times, it's getting quite annoying. Anyone else agree?

the funniest thing about it is that i've known airplanes from the beginning and suddelny EVERYONE likes, knows or loves that song and that is kinda strange^^ because most of the time other people just don't know "my" music you know...i'm really not used to that^^...airplanes became kinda mainstream i'd say but that isn't a bad thing at all..i still really like it...both songs aren't often played in the german radio and i listen pretty often to the radio...the only exceptioin was played only once...i really love it

AMEN! i don't even listen to the radio unless im driving somewhere and it seems like every time i get in the car one of the 2 is playing. I love Paramore but they have such better songs that could be chosen to play also.
i dont listen to the radio, but its same with music channels, airplanes is always on. i did get fed up of the only exception, because it was overplayed but i havent seen it in a while.

Only thing that annoys me about the radio, is that when they play Airplanes, or any of Bob's songs, they don't even mention Hayley, or whoever it's featured with.
I don't listen to the radio often, only when my iPod's dead, but I always listen to Radio 1 when I do, and they play some awesome stuff on there. When Airplanes or any song I like comes on, I don't moan about it being overplayed, I just turn the volume up and dance around my room for the length of it.

yeah i agree. I mean because i knew the song the day the BNE album came out, then ages later it was all big and its played ALL the time. Its great i love hearing Paramore songs on the radio and tv . But it does get annoying when it is over played. But i would rather paramore songs be played over and over rather then some shitty. And i didnt like the only exception all that much either
sadly this is what happens to most goodd songs...they try to stuff it down ur throught, but we dont wanna swallow the same food anymore, we get sick of it and from eatin too many sweets we develope a tummy ache (my awsome metaaphoer :D)
Yeah I cant listen to airplanes anymore cos it is always on the radio and also cause my friend played it on repeat for about 3 days straight. I dont hear the only exception as much anymore but when it first came out i was completly sick of hearing but i dont mind as much now :)
i barely listen to the radio so i havent heard either of the songs played too much. but I've definitely gotten sick of TOE, its such a simple song and they play it too much so i got bored of it. Honestly, i dont listen to paramore that often just cause i can get sick of their music pretty easily.

omg yeah! i don't listen to the radio that much, but on MTVH, VH1, and fuse, they play airplanes and TOE waaaaaaaaaaaay too much. im not saying that they're bad songs or anything, they're actually amazing, but after you've seen the music vids a million times you get sick of them
yup i agree airplanes always comes on the damn radio cuz i listen to pop stations cuz i cant find any rock stations,anyways i went to mexico and there was a radio station that played all kinds of music and they played the only exception all the time and careful sometimes but yeah i feal u :)
i totally understand. they play airplanes wayy too much. songs are way better if you listen to them every once in a while. not every 5mins. they get old real quick.
the only expection isnt really played as much as airplanes, and i like it a little better. i just finished watching the music video on fuse, and its super good.
you just gotta listen to a song sparingly. it makes it 100% better :)
i think both of the songs are cool and qwerty yalain what u are saying is wrong because there is nothing wrong with paaramore being popular and it is a huge step for them since riot came out !!! IF U feel that way plz dont ruin it for other fans AND paramore !

Yeh i agree that they are totally overplayed, Careful is also getting a lot of attention at the moment which annoys me because people who criticise me for liking this type of music now like it which is very frustrating!!!

I don't hear them very often here in NZ.
Then again, that's prolly because the only time the radio's on, it's during Art (which is two periods a day) and oftentimes its tuned in to R&B (Flava), which makes any occurances of either song a bit of a good omen for me :D

Is like bands that no one knows. They are so Freaking cool till' they become popular and the songs start losing feeling and finally suck.
Airplanes is such a cool song but after listening more than 20 times it gets pretty annoying, especially, like u said, w/every radio station playing it. I honestly like songs of the "Riot!" and "All we know is falling" albums better,,, no saying that i don't like "Brand New Eyes" [Misguided Ghosts
I never really get completely "sick" of songs. Although, many times I find myself listening to a batch of new songs because I know I've overplayed both of those songs, even though I love them both ;)
honestly, i never get tired of paramore songs. to me, theyre timeless. but it does bug me that their songs get overplayed :P cuz great songs like theirs dont deserve to be loved like crazy and then just thrown away like all the other songs on the radio. ^_^ however, when you listen to independent stations and stuff that play alternative music its really nice to hear them :D good to know that theyre known and appreciated. love you always, paramore. :)
if they're going to play paramore songs on the radio, i think they should play better ones, like ignorance.

I never get tired of it! The Only Exception doesn't come on alot, so I get excited when it plays! Probably because the only radio station I listen to is my uncle's..... But airplanes plays ALOT. I actually didn't like airplanes at first because I'm not a fan of rap. But now, I love it! So, it actually grew on me from playing it on the radio :)
I don't really listen to the radio and when I do they're always playing Lady Gaga or Jason Derulo.
