Take all the lyrics from All We Know is Falling and think of them in the current Paramore situation, with the Farros leaving and all.
Am I the only one who noticed how much those lyrics make complete sense, once more for Paramore? It's just as if they could write all those songs once again, but now to someone else.
Especially when they talk about not giving up and never leting go.
To me I feel like those songs are more meaningful NOW than before.
What about you? What do you think?
Hey, gotta say, Matt was really rude with what he commented here, but he's right after all. What you're saying isn't really new. But yeah. Their next album might be about how disappointed they feel about losing Zac and Josh. But i hope it will also have kind of an optimistic vibe, like you said.
@Izzyfoshizzy I agree.
I actually noticed that too. I think it says a lot about the band and their talent that no matter what situation... their lyrics always seem relevant.
I think Josh and Zac are both very talented people who will go far in the music industry, whether people look at them differently because they were in Paramore or whether they weren't. These two men have lives outside of Paramore- and they deserved to be lived. We don't know what goes on inside of Paramore's world- all I know is that they deserve respect for having the guts to leave.
When Jeremy left he didn't do that to start an another band. He left for personal reasons.
Farros have now their own lifes, apart from Paramore. They are in another band. They won't come back. It's not like they left the band, starting a new band, doesn't like it and come back to Paramore and Paramore saying 'welcome back in band Farros'
I totally agree with the topic! It's like Paramore wroter the songs for AWKIF in the past, and now they're experiencing it! Next thing y'know, Paramore might be going through Riot, then BNE... Holy Bananas...
@Paramore123
I, for some odd reason, am thinking the next album will have more of an optimistic vibe than the others. Of course, mixed with the feeling of disappointment and feeling let down, cuz of the Farro's and all, but I really do think it will talk way more about starting new and being able to move on.
Dunno, it's just a guess.
i know! for example:
brighter: and if you ran away
all we know: we held the world out in our hands, and you ran away. it took some time to let you go, and it shows
let this go: but i'll never let this go
they were in the same situation whilst writing all we know is falling cos jeremy left. i think their next album will be based on the same theme as their first album but about the farro's not jeremy:)x
@Lovesicktheory
Did I say that you had claimed that?
I was just saying that it's not, just saying.
I'm aware it's called a discussion, but the only thing you've provided us to discuss is how pointless this topic really is.
"Water is blue and that the earth is round.
Discuss."
@matt. Hahaha :D
can't remember claiming it was some sort of AMAZING discovery there, just saying.
it's called discussion, but thanks for the pointless remark there, matt.
@Luke
I'm always right! D:
Missed me? ;D
Matt is rarararight.
That's because YOU made it that way.
Most people find ways to make songs fit their situation or emotions, it's not some AMAZING new thing that you just discovered.
Moron.
Yeah, I know it's pretty much the same situation, what I mean is that they seem more meaningful now than then.
i agree
That's because it's basically the same situation they were in while writing that song.
Duh! All We Know is Falling was written only a few days after Jeremy Davis quit the band. He came back later, of course.
I agree with @No Apologies, a song can mean whatever you want essentially. But the songs are very applicable to the situation.
congrats! you understood it too!
I think any song can mean anything if you twist the words around enough.... But I guess it kind of fits the situation.
