soooo...... i live in ohio. yeah the most boring place in the world and im supposed to be moving to Los Angeles for college september 29th. I've already been accepted and am going through the fiancial aid process as we speak so im psyched. my parents on the other hand dont want me to go. its almost 3,000 miles from home and i dont have much money but its my dream!
the college i got into is..... incredible. imn going for fashion design and i found out what my professors teach is what the do outside of school so they know everything from real life experience. i feel like this is my best option. i found a plane ticket for $140.00 which is EXTREMELY cheap but i dont have very much money otherwise and lost my job.
im doing this comeptly on my own. no help from family or friends.
what do you think? im a bit... scattered as of if i should go or push it back.

I think you should absolutely do it!! I fear I'll have the same problem in one year as I'll have to move to another city to study Popmusicdesign. BUT You should try everything to do what you dream of andNEVER give up!!! Its a shame that your parents don't support you, mine don't support me neither.... but that should be another psuh for one to hang in there and show them all what you can do!! :D Best of Luck.

Ofc you're not crazy, you just want to follow your dream. So do it! You won't regret it. Even if it doesn't work out (which it will, because obviously you want this and so you'll work hard for it) it'll have been an experience.
i don't think you're crazy. you should follow your dream! and besides, it's LA! i live near there, and i'm pretty sure you could find a job somewhere! and you said your going to college for fashion design, right? well if you put that on a job application for a clothing store you'd be a shoe-in! good luck!

Definitely not crazy. You seem to know what you're doing, your head is screwed on properly. It sounds like this fashion design course at college will be great and think about what accreditation's you'll get. Being away from your family may be hard and I'm sure there are plenty of other people who will be going there who will be feeling the same way as you're feeling about being away from home :) You'll be great!
Not crazy, but try and see if there are jobs going near where you're staying in L.A, just so you can start getting money in when you get there ^-^
