Ok so i`ve been a pretty big Paramore fan since around 2007 nd i`ve always thought they weren`t rlly that big or anything like that but then came Twilight nd the twitards nd Decode nd I Caught Myself. I mean like Paramore has not only one, but TWO songs on the soundtrack for one of the most obsessive,popular,nd biggest movie of our time. They`ve been on numerous talk shows just recently they`ve been on Ellen which i find to be a pretty big talk show.They have won all types of awards including some pretty big ones.Plus they`re in so many magazines nd now they`re in SPIN.Nd now we have Hayley in Airplanes one of right nows biggest outbreak songs.I just find it bittersweet bcuz it`s like omg MY favorite band is huge nd they`re almost everywhere.But then again it`s like u dnt wanna be just another fan of the biggest thing u know? I freak out inside anytime i hear a Paramore song. Like about a week ago i went bowling with my friend nd we were back in the game room nd i hear them play "The Only Exception" out in the bowling area nd i begged my friend to come out nd listen to it with it with me cuz all my friends now i`m obsessed with them but she still wouldn`t come out with me so i freakin DITCHED her to go out nd listen to "The Only Exception".
So do u guys think i`m over reacting or as a dedicated Parawhore do I have every right to be freaking out at how big the little band from Franklin,Tennessee has made it? Plz comment ppl cuz everytime i make a discussion it`s like noone sees it nd it gets shoved right to the end of the line or ppl just think it`s useless.

Paramore are famous becasue they dont care about the shit most people give not only them but to the rock industry also becasue thy are beyondddd talleeeenteeeeeddd!!!!!!!!!!!!
even if they get as famous as kesha etc its not gonna get to them cuz hayley and the rest make it VERY clear on their interviews that they are musicians and not ceelibrities i think that it will be good for the world if they get famous because they are so kinda caring BEYOND TALENTED and down to earth ,all they fake people are gonna think twice about themself.....

YES! I forgot to add, I agree with godlover. They are all so down to earth and just generally nice people. I wouldn't want them to loose that. (I don't think they ever would) but I'm happy where they are, that could just be me sounding selfish... but ehh
I know what you mean, I've been a fan since 07 also. But I'm happy they are getting more attention because they really deserve it! I don't like how people say OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE BAND, but they only have one of their songs on their ipod! it's like.... ??? I like when I kinda have my own bands to myself, but I want them to be recognized, you know? So I am so very happy that Paramore more popular than they used to be! But it's good they aren't like some people as in... Justin Beiber, Kesha, or people like that. Those people (in my opinion) don't deserve as much attention as they are getting, where as Paramore has great music that I think deserves to be recognized. Yes these are all of my opinions, but there are probably alot of people who feel the same way. I hope this helped :) Wow this helped me get alot out haha

but i don't want them to get over-exposed so that their popularity will be preserved and I'm already happy to see them famous but not too much famous.
I'm Happy that they are getting famous CUZ THEY ARE AMAZING but i am exactly lke you i tend to like the weird unknown bands and i do get quite mad when peepz say they love paramore just cuz of B.o.B and Hayley with Airplanes 'cuz ive tried to show people that they do exist and are beyond talanted for years and just cuz hayley made a song with one of the upcomming rap artist and in a pop world its quite hard to get people to hard to like paramore as they are a rock band and people got to know got famous because of hayley singing a rap song. But people always moan when i talk about paramore and when i say that hayley williams was the one with that done a duet with B.O.B they instantly say they love her and paramore even though they never heard of the ACTUAL paramore........SOOOO i think most people are not gonna accept them for PARAMORE but only for Hayley.

There's no need for such elitism. You're a fan, they're a fan. There's no "true". You can't be the superlative of something when it's not easily judged.
I've been a parawhore before twilight, I like decode but I hate twilight so pretty much the ones on here are the real paramore fans
yeah i get wot you mean. i freak everytime i hear paramore on the radio and me and my best friend just love the band to bits! i started out as a fan around 2008 and yeah, now they seem so big. but i guess the best thing is that they havent let it go to their heads. they started out as a small band but now made huge successes, and so i dnt tink that you're overreacting. if ur a real fan, i guess thats cool. but yeah, after their soundtrack for Twilight it does look like there are so many people who just like the band not for who they really are, or for their amazing music, but just because of the movie. that's what i don't like. but if u like paramore because of who they are, join the club, coz we all freak out when we hear the successes that Paramore has made over the years. =D

i know what you mean. i have been a fan since around '06 (or maybe late '05 though probably not coz i was quite young then) i absolutely think its great how successful they've become but i do also kinda wish they never did twilight. it used to be just dedicated paramore fans, but now there's also the people who only like them coz of twilight and thats not fair on us, coz they get tickets true paramore fans should get and they act like theyve known them and loved them forever.
