i know the feeling when you see someone else wearing a Paramore(or any other band you like for that matter) shirt.
It makes you feel like your both part of some exclusive club, and you just wanna run up to them and give them a hi five and be like: 'I LOVE PARAMORE TOO!' XD

i think i get what your saying. you want paramore to yourself so when they would get famous you would know them

bethwasbornforthis's picture

and I DO go talk to them :)

Nope, that's just stupid that you don't want success.
It makes me happy and proud that they've got so far.

oh yeah, and i know some girls who are going to a show and i asked them what their favorite song was and they said decode (nothing wrong with that, its a good song. not my fave, but still a very good song) then i asked what other songs they liked, and they said they didnt really know any more paramore songs. and theyre going to a show. and they call themselves paramore fans?

WeaknessIsOurStregnth's picture

i know what you mean. i met a girl today and she asked me what music i like and the first word i said was paramore. and she said she does too. but its coz of twilight. i know what you mean. i like the fact that i can talk about them and people know what i mean, but i want them for myself too. its great for them that theyre soooo successful, but in a way i preferred it before.

I kinda know what you mean... Its so wierd for them to be so main stream! I feel like every time I turn on the t.v or radio I see Decode or Airplanes... I mean I dont think its a bad thing its just a wierd feeling... Oh well hopefully its a feeling I will get used too !!!

@Matt haha

@Matt it was never your intention to brag... right?

Nope it's great that there are so many Paramore fans. It's cool when you see someone with a Paramore shirt/bag/badges, I go all spaztarded and I'm like "you like Paramore too?!"
But if they mention how much they like Twilight too, I get a bit wary.
It's cool that there are plenty of people to share Paramore with, the more people that love them the better imo :)

No, i see people with the tshirt and get an urge to scream "HAHAHA, I've met them!"

I don't wish that they weren't big, but I miss the times when they were small. They deserve all the success they've gotten. I just remember back to the "Paramore being crazy" video days and feel all nostalgic and think about how when Paramore were all teenagers and all that and miss it.

Yeah, I don't know much other people who like them, but I get annoyed when people I don't like wear Paramore tshirts, I'm like, "I don't like you, Paramore is my favourite band, so please change that tshirt" hehe :P

I know I agree! It really makes me mad when I see people wearing a Paramore shirt and you start talking to them, and they only know Decode and Misery Business! To me you can't call yourself a fan if you don't own and listen to all of their albums. I'm a very dedicated obsessed fan though, so my version of a true fan may not be right for everyone. I does bother me with stuff like that, but for the most part I'm glad they're big now. It just means people are finding and loving their music, and that's never a bad thing.

Cille's picture

no, 'cause they aren't that big where I live. actually I don't know anyone in real life who likes them, so they are kinda 'my band' here :)
