Hey!
I might be going to Madrid for Paramore (I'm from Ireland!) because they're playing on my 17th Birthday!
can anyone tell me, is the venue far from the airport? and is it in a safe area?

VOTAD VOTAD VOTAD! :)
I'm from Madrid and I can say that the place is safe!! hahaha it's like everywhere you go, in every city you must be careful but that's all, there's no murderer or something like that so don't be worry :)
The best way to go is def. by tube, it cost 1. From the Airport: Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios (last stop) then Line 6 to Oporto and then Line 5 to Vista Alegre stop that is about 2 minutes from the venue!! :) enjoy Madrid!!
Si yo voy viajare a Spain para verlos :D I'm so exited
No, it's not for under 18's only. U18 organises concerts and events for people under 18, but older people can go too.
@lukepiscina, it is under 18's only.
Is this concert just for under 18's?? I keep seeing U-18 when looking for tickets??
Is this concert just for Under 18's as i keep seeing this when looking for tickets??
Hey! I'm going with a friend by car. I'm from the South so I don't really know Madrid, but I went there to a concert once, so I think I can tell you about it :)
I'm sure you can take the tube near the airport and it will leave you near the venue. It takes to go by tube about 1h15 and then you can go walking less than 10min till the venue. By taxi it would take half an hour but it's much more expensive, you know.
And answering your last question, it's said it isn't a safe area. At least not for going alone. Better if you stay with someone else if you're going to go very early.
I hope I've been helpful :)
Hi, there is subway/underground/metro from the airport, just not to pay a lot for the taxi drive (since the airport it's quite far from the city center). I'm going from the north of spain, i guess i'm going by plane too, but I don't know yet how I'm going to arrive to the place where the gig is. Probably i'll get the metro from the airport, and then get into the nearest stop (if it's too far, i'll take a taxi, if is not, by walk). I don't really know how safe is madrid, but if you can, it will be better to go with someone (mostly because of the language). I didn't take the ticket plane yet, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to arrive on saturday, and stay at the qeue from that day on.
I don't know if this was useful enough! :D
Just look the adress of the venue then look in a map, then get your flight ticket. When you land in madrid, just ask a taxi to drive you to the adress of the venue
Hey! I don't think I'll be able to go, and I'm not from Madrid, but I'm pretty sure the venue is quite far from the airport. I don't know how you can get to the concert, sorry.
I hope somebody from Madrid answers you.
Nope.
Looks like it's just you.
