I doubt they will be rock legends as to be honest i cant see them releasing many more albums. i know it sucks but you dont become a legend for making 3 albums (very goodones but). You be a legend if youve been rocking for 30 years and people still want to buy your music such as ACDC (not that i like them much but undeniable legends)
i think maybe if she dates me she may get into some different styles and genres that really push paramore past the innovation point and to another level of musical experience!
as much as you say that sex pistols suck, believe it or not if it werent for them paramore wouldnt be here. and i know everyone says this but im 15, and i know its true because where do you think punk started?
also kings of leon were opening for pearl jam in their 2006 world tour for pearl jams new released self titled album, and thats where they started to get heard. their 4th/5th album was brilliant 'Only in the Night'...it was definately a big step up because i hated their stuff before that.
also back on topic, if paramore ever appeal to the older crowds, yes, but my dad hates them and he listens to nearly all my music and he loves most of the bands in hall of fame so theres a 98% chance they wont be called 'Rock legends' lol.
Yeah .. I've thought of that .. & i really f-in wish so ... because I love them so much.. but for one its hard to tell..
(but kings of leon we're basically NOTHING .. N.O.T.H.I.N.G. ...terrible .. and then one song all of a sudden when there 4th or 5th album comes .. out here they are)
People say their music is more pop so no.. but to me pop is synthasized fake music .. & from experience i know paramore's music isn't fake..
& someone in here said mostly appealed to teenage girls ...
... which i'd agree with you ...but i'm male .. & at the concerts i've been to.. there are MOSTLY ADULTS (MALE AND FEMALE about the same ratio .. for younger people yeah prolly more girls) ......
BUT THEY SHOULD BE LEGENDS IF NOT .. they are to me
well firstly you could have chosen a better example as 'legends', lol
sex pistols were trash...all they had goin for em was the 'punk lifestyle' thing, and the whole sid & nancy nonsense
for paramore, who knows, most of em are barely into their twenties, they have a long way to go, maturity AND musicality wise...looking at BNE's improvement over Riot, just imagine 2-3 albums down the line, thats years away, they could definitely put out something truly great
i mean, even U2's members once realized in their early days that they needed to improve alot at their instruments...zac's already pretty good, josh is a very good hook writer atm, imagine that + him learnin how to shred...it would be stepping away from their pop-punk roots but thats not really a bad thing imo, so yea i think the sky's the limit for paramore, as long as you think beyond the next 3-5 years
first get some grammar lessons, secondly they wont cus they will never make it that big, and like pyromancer said 'they're more of a pop band'. if you noticed mostly teenage girls listen to them (im not saying only teenage girls listen to them but thats typically the kinda crowd they appeal to)
Legend or not, I can't tell! But as long as Paramore leaves an impact in the music industry and to the people around the world with their inspiring songs, that is good enough...
They already are in my eyes :]

in my opinion they are already there

To be honest I don't think so. BUTTTTT,like Beth said, they will always be legend to me! Paramore forever and ever! =) x
they'll always be a legend to me!
Let's put it this way. NO.... They're more of a pop band. Not sure if they'll be legends but they have a good shot at it, though. Good, not great.
