so im a member of the PFC and i was wondering how the m&g were given out.
did you have to register your pfc membership code last month?
were emails given out or are the lists going to be put up on the pfc home page?
just any other info on the australian m&g would be great.

bummed i didnt get a m&g either.
its already been announced apparently. i thought it worked differently too. but i didnt get an email and people are saying how they won :( a bit bummed about it, but next show!
I think its already been done now.. your meant to get an e-mail from PFC, i didnt get a M&G... I think they do also post it on PFC homepage, thats just what I have seen in the forum, not sure if its true.

I'd say that it is probably too random. Just on the basis that it seems a little unfair that people can win multiple M&Gs in place of others who haven't had one before. I've got no vested interest in this - wasn't in the draw in the first place - and I wouldn't want to say that anyone at all should be denied a chance, just it doesn't seem right. Personally if I won twice in a row I'd gladly and voluntarily step aside for someone who's never had one, not because I wouldn't want it (oh god would I) but I'd feel terrible for people who repeatedly miss out.
On the other hand it's a tough case to push since clearly the fairest possible system is one in which everyone has equal chance in the draw. No matter how it's run there's gonna be lots of disappointment. I think we're all pretty lucky though - how many bands do you know of that do M&Gs at all, let alone every show? Personally only one of my other favourite bands do it - and their M&G package costs upward of $1000 (KISS).
'Random' selection - I don't think it's random enough mind you.
You had to be a PFC member before the pre-sale so you could actually buy pre-sale tickets. Last time they did put up a list, so it will probably happen again. And like Jono said, each states winners have been selected and notified. I'm heartbroken :(
