Well i was just wondering who else thinks that people say you shouldn't listen to a type of music because of age or race is total crap.

Yes! Very stupid! I love all sorts of rock/alternative/metal/punk/indie music and whenever I tell people what types of music I like, they're always incredibly shocked! =S

Music is supposed to make you feel good, not because of what you are. Emos, goths, punks, for instance. They listen to their music because it's what they like and makes them feel good.
And if paramore is what you want to listen to, then go ahead!!! I listen to them every morning when I get ready. hahaha

That's really stupid. Music is there to make you feel inspired and for me personally, it's an escapism from the world and listening to music just makes me think "yeah, things are going to be fine"
