everyone strives to be different these days.
I dont think theres actually a person in this world thats considered normal. I think that the 'norm' is considered as 'mainstream'.
I dont know, everyone is different in their own way.

being weird makes you different, your inperfections make you perfect and odds the new even. Thats all i really need to know and thats how i live. People use the word 'normal' when they are afraid to be different and they use 'weird' when they see people who arent afraid to be different.

I get what you said @hayley's truck. It's become the trend to be 'quirky' now, but because everybody is following the trend it just makes them all the same again.
It'd be better if people just liked things because they liked them and not because it's the latest popular thing to do/be.
Normal is relative anyway. What's normal for one person could be weird for another and vice versa. Social norms depend highly on context.
simple, theres no definition for "normal" or for "werid", no one wants to be normal anymore because they feel like they blend in or something, i'm not saying i'm normal or werid, but yes, being werid is the new normal.

Who is normal alt all? How can we judge it at all? By stereotypes? You don't need to be "weird" to be intersting person. You just need to be yourself, believe in your abilities, like your interests - then you're normal and original, because you are who you are. You're different than the others but still the same human :) So keep being yourself :)
Normal is just what you're accustomed to.
Weird is something different. You can acknowledge the things about them that are weird but they're still normal to you.

I live 20 minutes away from San Francisco and people think I'm weird. So trust me. I KNOW that I am for certain very, very weird.
I think it's just whatever works for you... Even when yur a teen. Everyone is kinda trying new things and whatever someone does might not be what you like.
Everyone has a different definition of weird, but I actually hope that more people branch out and try to be different. Honestly 80% of the girls at my school have the same style and wear their hair and makeup the same way. It'd be cool to someday see more diverse styles. There are certain trends that are just so overdone people look like copies of each other. So in my opinion, being "weird" is cool. When I see someone who stands out, it makes me more interested in knowing them.
No one is really normal. However, not everyone is weird. "Being weird" can be fun and if who you really are is a "weirdo" than it allows you to express yourself which feels good

kind of hard to understand but maybe i get you. It's like people nowadays are trying too hard to be weird because that's the 'trend'? Back then all the weird people were regarded as freaks but i guess after Gaga, weird people just have that power to come out or something. then some other fakers try to be 'weird' too because now it's sort of cool. actually now i don't know where i'm going neither. i've confused myself.
