I think playing Decode right now is more of a nod to Twilight than anything else-and technicaly, it is a good song...the fact they also played playing "i Caught Myself last night is interesting as well - but like i said, I think you'll see a subtle change at the detriot show tonight and the set wil evolve and change a bit as the tour progresses - that's the good thing about only playing 7 newies - they can switch em in out as they want...
I wouldn't be surprised if they threw in their Kings of Leon Cover as well ( hey when you're #1 in the country it's ok to do...)
Actually, now that i think about it more, I would have rather hear Playing God and Feeling Sorry or All i wanted instead of decode...oh well!! :)
Wish i was going to Boston....as for that setlist, it is interesting -I thought "Playing God" might have got a run..still the way the set is set up is probably due to a few things.
1) they know they have to paly a few fraves
2) they don't want to overextend Hayleys voice too much for a bit - she probably know the vocal range of the older songs better than the new ones right now
Interesting that "Misguided Ghosts" was in there - a lovely song but a little weird being so close to the end of the show.
It's going to be interesting to see how the set list changes- I believe it is gonig to change as the tour goes on...by the time it gets to say, Boston it may look radically different to what it is now...
