She is definately a Hayley wanna-be. I totally agree with ThisHeartWillStartARiot accept I never liked her. Say what ever you want about coincedences or that she's just a fan but there's a line between a fan and a wanna-be and Demi has crossed that line.

I mean (by saying I think she is) that I think she admires Paramore for their talent and hard work.
I think she is. I mean, when I first discovered Paramore was her favorite band and a picture of her with them, I thought it was cool... then started to seem to try to be like Paramore/Hayley and it just got annoying for me. Her album's called "Here We Go Again", she posed like Hayley, and she did some of Hayley's live moves. So, yeah, I find the similarity annoying, but I'm not going to judge.

Until Demi says "I was copying Hayley" I will argue this point. She's being herself, finding herself and doing some poses doesn't make her a wannabe at all.

But seriously, she's not a wanna be. She's a paramore fan, shes if anything at all inspired by hayley. And anyway, the photographer makes the shoots, she doesnt have much control over it.
Nobody's copying anybody, its just slighty similar. But if a camera man shouted at you to strike a pose, I think almost everybody would either stick their tougne out and give peace signs. Those are just common things to do.
@Matt It won't if you admire or know them. And I'm not committed to condemning her to into the wannabe stereotype! I'm agreeing with the girl who started this topic and stating my opinion. As a matter of fact Demi is really talented

I don't think she's like Hayley at all. In all fairness I think that Pete Wentz is more like Hayley than she is.

No, in most circumstances it's down to the photographer.
And none of them were identical, in a few she was doing things similar to her, but hey, people say "quick, strike a pose" most would pull their tongue, do the peace thing, cover part of their face or whatever.
Just because they're similar doens't mean that she is actually copying Hayley,
I hold my hand up and say that when I gave examples of how Demi would copy Hayley, I didn't include much to do with performing music, but if you want I can come up with some. They were just things I could think of off the top of my head.
@RiotKaulitz, I accept what you're saying, because I would say the same, and have said the same, in other situations. But in this case anybody can use any example or say whatever they like, because the whole point of this discussion, and the issue we're talking about it absolute total horse shit. When Demi belts out a song so so so so similar to a Paramore song, dyes her hair orange, dates a huge piece of man with tattoos, etc etc etc, then you can say she isn't following her job as a musician with originality.
Tbh, name me one person on this planet who is absolutely totally 100% original.

@Riot No one is original. No one. Not even LadyGaga, believe it or not. We only think someone's original because they are famous. No one's music is "original" either. I mean, yes there might have different lyrics, but that is why there are such things as genres. Music in the same genres sound at least a slightly bit alike.
@C'mon Chickens Maybe they're wannabes, maybe there not. But your job as a musician to be original and not to follow other singers way. Fans are not musicians so it wouldn't be a big deal if we wanna dress like hayley or cut our hair like her. And it's not one photo.. I saw more.

The album cover is similer but they are both bassed on no doubt so i don't mind. Hayley and Demi are both Gwen Stefani rip offs. ^_^
Yeah sure she's I fan and I don't blame her for being a fan. i mean Paramore is amazing why wouldn't she wanna be a fan and I agree with @MusiqueeNicky Demi has a really great voice and I think she should use it to her originality.. She shouldn't let her influences overcome who she really is. She shouldn't be too much of Hayley! It looks forced! I'm not judging Demi.. It's just my opinion! Demi should try to create and be more original!
