The world will end when the sun explodes. There will probably be a lot more natural tragedies, but I don't believe the world will end in 2012. I also don't believe God will end it either (not trying to offend anyone, I believe more in logic and science than God.).
But it is a kinda fun topic to talk about! A lot of people say that there will be a zombie apocalypse on December 23rd 2012! We just have to wait to see what happens.!(:
In my opinion, God will be the one to end the world. He is the One who created it, and it'll be His decision.

Nope. I don't honestly. In the Bible it says that only God knows when the world will end. Not Jesus, no angels, nobody knows when the world will end but Him. Now if your not religious I don't know how you feel, but this is just me.

yea, people are the ones screwing up nature and environment. i hate that the ones with power just don't get it and do something about it. [of course, not EVERYONE is like that]. well, the world "as we know it" will end, i just don't think it's gonna be this soon. but even when it's the end of the world - Earth will still exist, change and evolve, and there will be the next "humans" or whatever will it be. haha. but i'm effin scared of the end of the world =D not gonna be that soon, but maybe in my lifetime... =(
