Do you think paramore should have done New Moon?
Personally, I Dont because of the whole 'Twilight Band' thing.
I Think they have soo much more music that 'twilight paramore fans' did'nt hear before, and these so called fans that have only heard decode really annoy me.

i dont think they shoulda done it cause then they woulda been known as the band that played songs for the twilight saga
but they woulda gotten a whole lot more fans from it

i honestly do not care wether they do have done it or not, but i agree that if they probly did it, the whole "Twilight Band" thing will get worse and trust me, it annoys the hecck outta me when people at my school diss my favorite band.
Well first things first....Paramore fans should be happy about HOWEVERA someone finds out about Paramore - whether it be thorugh Twilight or not ...I'm sure there are peopel who came across Paramore purely by accident - Iknow i did...was trolling you tube and saw video of thier anaheim concertfrom a few years back ( worth seeing too).
Point here is - Twilight did introduce al ot of new fans to them- and you gotta remember there were bands linnig up to go on the new moon sound track...
You gotta remember gonig on a soyund trakc can be a great marketing move for a band trying to Break - not that Paramore needed the break but there are a lot bands out there who do (and have)

MUSE is antoher case..look att them- they didn't necessarily need the break but being on Twilgiht sure helped break them bigger in the US, and now they're on tour with U2...
Don't ever knock a bnad being on sound track- it might the be thing that changes thier career...
Finally Should Paramore have done new Moon? NO I Don't think so - particlualry when you consider they knew they had a new album coming out - being on Soundtrack now would have jsut clouded thnigs + pif they Soundtrakc song was better thna one on BNME people would wonder why it wasn't on there.

It's like Hayley said, Twilight was their thing. But that's it. I love Twilight but paramore is their own thing. Doing NM would have overdone it. So, I agree with their decision.
However, nothing on the NM soundtrack will EVER top Decode. That junk is legendary.
no I'm glad they didn't. I personally don't like twilight paramore fans. I mean if they find out about them through twilight and then like them fine... but if they like them JUST because it's "twilight"....eh

I would have liked to see a song from them on the soundtrack. (LOVE the whole Twilight Saga!) But I think their reasoning not to was good. They know they got a lot of new fans from Twilight, and would probably gain more if they did a track for New Moon, but they don't want to cash in on that fame. They would rather do their own stuff and have people get to know them that way.

I think Death Cab FC did a good job, not as good as Decode though ;) I think Paramore did the right choice

I dont think so and I like twilighht I mean they were awesome and all but Im fed up of twilight freaks saying they are fans of paramore when they know two songs plus they dont want to look like the vampire house band :P
i was dissapointed at first cause i really wanted to hear some more new material but then they said they were recording bne so i was happy! and i dont think they should have done it anymore just cause it would restrict them/bind them to the twilight saga when they are soooo brilliant in their own right and dont need to be attached to the madness that is twilight.
I think it would've been fun, but they really don't need that right now. I think twilight was their little fun thing, but they dont want to be that "twilight band". they wanna be PARAMORE!!!! ;)

i agree with zander...to an extend...some of them r rlly true fans that just happened to kno paramore thru twilight....i said this be4 and ill say it again..i kno alot of ppl who like paramore for their music and lyrics altho they stumbled upon them thru twilight....one of actually didnt like decode and i caught myself at all!
but it annoys the shit out of me wen they say the twilight band or the band in twilight!! ( sry for sayin shit)

No, I'm happy with their choice! I would rather have them focus on BNE, and I also don't want them to be any more associated with Twilight than they are right now.
Well .... don't kill me but I've nnown Paramore thanks to Twilight. I loved "Decode" and so " I Caught Myself", so I wanted to know more about the group and ... just felt in love with their music. I quickly bought "All We Know Is Falling", "Riot" and "The Final Riot" + ordered the deluxe "Brand New Eyes" box ^^
So yes, for me that would have been a nice idea for them to be part of New Moon.
I'm from France and Paramore are not so famous here so it's a good way to make some advert ;)
And that would have been a way to have an new song ;)
