Has anyone else noticed that Paramore is becoming more about Hayley??? I'm not saying thats a bad thing but when you look back at the old days and stuff its not as much about Hayley as it got after BNE? U know. Its okay if you dont agree with me thats just my opinion. When I went to google and i typed in parmaore all these pictures of Hayley came up and I was like WTF it's PARAMORE not Hayley and still when I hear people talk about Paramore they always use the word SHE! It annoys me! So tell me what you think...
At the very start when the whole band was new, it was about the whole group.
However when they got more well known, Hayley obviously catches the eye first because of her hair for one thing and because she's the singer, she's much more noticeable than the guys and therefore more memorable, so if first-timers see/hear Paramore they'll associate it with Hayley.
It annoys me somewhat that Hayley gets more attention because they are all really talented and should all be recognised for it. But that's just the way it goes, the frontwoman/man of a band always gets the most recognition :/
well im not being rude or anything but she does write the songs (i kno so does some of the others in the band but for the most part its hayley) and she is the singer. her voice is heard while the others just play their instruments. it would be no different if they didnt come up with a name and just put the album as Hayley Williams. and ya when people say she or her they are stating hayley because she is the singer of the band and stands out more becuase of her voice. these things happen a ton of bands just like daughtry, nickelback, shinedown, and some other bands.

I think it was always about her. i dont like it cuz the BAND is amzing, but i mean being a girl in a band, you do get a lot of attention.

@Jeremytwin14 sorry this just pissed me off but Jonas doesn't "play", they PLAY. all u hear on the readio is THEM they can play guitars/drums and keyboards. So dont use them as that example. of course there gonna have back ups since they sing too, u only see hayles singing here not the guys. there for its just paramore.
When it comes to hayley, i love her and yeah at first i didnt noticed the dudes jeremy and zac and etc. but once i because really interested in the band that's how i started to learn more things. And so i bet it was with the rest of u guys.

@origanalFreaak.X I completely agree. But when i was a new fan of paramore (4 years ago) I noticed it was a band but on the raido thay said 'she' so i looked it up and It waz for sure a band. And it makes me mad that people are not appreciating ALL of the amazing musicans of THE BAND paramore

i agree.. although i am only a new paramore fan. if it was just about hayley it wouldnt be called Paramore..
I Think That Most People Instantly Look To The Frontwoman/man of a band when they first start listening and whatever but I understand what you mean but look at the other side. whenever I see interviews for paramore and stuff its alway Hayley and Josh or Taylore Or even The whole Band. not Just Hayley.
If people refer to Paramore as a 'she' They either need to re-learn the english language or get some help with their gender confusion because 80% of Paramore are male. Even then they need to open they're eyes past the voice of paramore and see the whole band. I dont know about you but I wont listen to music if they have a shit drummer or guitar parts all over the place ect. It just aint music. It's about the whole effect of the piece not just the vocals
it's because of all the magazines and stuff, they automatically put Hayley in the center of attention.and then people who've never even heard of Paramore read the magazines and think it's all about Hayley. I've seen people do it on awards shows too.like they interview Paramore but let Hayley answer all the questions..I know she's a lead singer and all, but they never really pay attention to the rest of the band.
I guess all the lead singers get the most attention, plus, Hayley just kind of sticks out-the only girl in the band,with her crazy hair:D

I wish the boys would go on the site at least sometimes... now hayley's posts are getting scarce too. she used to go on all the time. now all you see is twitter and half the time you don't know what they are referring to...

At my school we were talking about paramore and one person walked up to me and said is that the band with Hayley and then I said "Yeah" and she said Ohh I didnt know that was a band I thought that was her nickname kind of like a 'nevershoutnever' thing! And i got sooo pissed not at her remark but at the fact that this is what people think and I know it's not just her! And i know it's because she is the lead singer/frontwomen/female but when you look at the Jonas Brothers(there a band right?) Anyway when you look at them you see three dudes with almost the exact same attention! Now compare that to paramore...?
yeah, I agree. It saddens me too, cause this is why they nearly broke up in the first place. If this continues, I'm afraid to say that Paramore might be no more.

its because hayley is the front woman shes kinda the staple of the band if jjeremy was the singer then when you looked up paramore you would see pics of jeremy its like as much as i regret to say it the jonas brothers they have a whole band playing behind them while they "play" in concert its just the one person who is the most livly person in the band is going to get noticed more and people will like them better for their spunk and hayley is very conciderate cause when they signe on to fbr+ she said she wanted to be a real band not be like avril lavinge thats just my thoughts god bless and for ptes sake help hayley out through this togh time shes having shes still the same person
ive noticed that, i cut out all the articles and pictures in magazines i can find of paramore, i have loads but only a handful show the whole band, the rest are just hayley :/

I think it depends really on gender tbh. Every male fan will like Hayley as she is extremley attractive, and the female stars will like the guys because they find them hot.
Not like this is every case though. It is unfortunate that Paramore is seen as just Hayley by some people.
To answer the question, I say yes and no. Yes people are seeing Paramore as Hayley, but no because us, the Paramore fans here, see Paramore as Paramore, not just one person.

yea i kinda see that, but the songs in BNE are either about them almost breaking up or hayley being judged, so the album is kinda about her... you guys know those dumb disney stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez? well they were doing a vlog together on youtube and they were answering fan questions. and one question was whose you favorite band and why? and they said "omg PARAMORE! *she* is amazing!!" and then in the next vlog they did they said "So um some of you guys were upset that we called Paramore 'she' and not 'they' well hayley is like a rolemodel to me and the rest of the band are guys, and you don't really look up to guys if you're a girl. ya know?" WTF? im a girl and i look up not just to hayley but the 4 guys as well!

I agree with you! Paramore = Hayley , josh , zac , jeremey and taylor not just hayley! Hayley is awesome and amazing, but without the guys, the band wouldn't be a band!

I don't think that it has become more about Hayley, I think it's always been that way. But for me, thats only to do with the media, and people interested in selling and writing stories. As a fan, I'm interested in the band as a whole, and I'm sure it's the same with all the other fans.
The lead singer is always the one who gets the most attention because they are like the leader of the band and it is the vocalist who always does the majority of the talking at interviews. I agree with you that it can be annoying when people say she instead of them or Hayley and her band but it's the same with every single band the front man/woman is always the main focus that's just the way it is.
im from mexico and there's a tv programm in mtv called los 10+ and everytime they're gonna pass the only exception video this girl is like ok the next video blah blah blah ..form hayley and her band argg i hate everytime she says that !! it's not her band, it's not called hayley and paramore ! she didn't hired them to be "part of her band" or something ! ¬¬ but oh well

@totally, which is my point..the boys stand out..but hayley stands out more..hence the attention
@luna, not necessarily the case with all bands...but about 90% of the time it is the vocalist who gets the most attention..
unless josh or taylor becomes these guitar virtuoso's and gets on the cover of guitar magazine or something i doubt ppl who are casual fans of paramore will ever know who they are..
for those fans paramore will always be hayley williams because thts how it is portrayed in the media..i dunno why this is an issue for fans anyways?
most bands are like this..its the lead who will get the attention but it is the band u will love..how the media portrays it doesnt mean anything..its all publicity and overall can only be a good thing for paramore as a whole.
