hate to bother you with my issues, but this is paramore related. is it bad that i found paramore through twilight? there would be no other way for me to find them because i don't have guitar hero and everyone in my town likes country. i don't even listen to decode or i caught myself that much. there a so many disscusions about how people who found paramore through twilight "are not worthy paramore fans" or people just sayiiin bad things about twilight. does finding paramore throught twilight make me a bad person?
no it's not bad at all. you're a fan of Paramore no matter how you found out about them. Paramore loves all of their fans equally. =)

No...the point is that you liked that song, a parmore song.. people call paramore the twilight band somtimes, but really Muse have done more songs for Twilght.
Don't listen to all the bullshit about twilight on this website - the point is your a fan of paramore and you have every right to be a part of this website :) People just want to prove they are a better fan and stuff, they see it as a competition, but tbh I think paramore would hate it if they knew people saying stuff like that.
It doesnt matter WHERE you found out about them. I found out about them fro guitar hero of all things so no it doenst make you bad at all.

nahh it's all good. it's just sorta annoying when they just found them through twilight and they only know 2 songs (decode and i caught myself) and are suddenly paramore's biggest fans.

not at all..to be honest i had heard some of their songs before but i didnt kno that it was paramore..i wasnt a big rock person..after i heard Decode from Twilight i started looking for them more..plus my girlfriend got me into them alot more lol..but no it doesnt make you a bad person at all

Nah it doesn't make you a bad person! I'll admit I get a bit annoyed when people say they like Paramore, but the only songs they know are Decode and I Caught Myself and they can't name any other songs. The only reason that annoys me is becuase Paramore have so many great songs its like "how can you not have heard My Heart??? or Crush Crush Crush??? ffs".
But if you have gone an gotten their albums as well then you are a fan who discovered a band.
TBH I kind of liked Muse (liked a few songs, including Supermassive Black Hole - but I didn't own their albums or anything), then I heard Supermassive Black Hole in the cinema (baseball scene ftw) and it was really loud and I just loved it!! Now I have their back catalogue, and have been to see them live.
It doesn't matter how you discover a band, it only matters that you discover them at all.
I first heard of Paramore through Twilight but I didn't really care. But the first song I really LOVED was Ignorance.
People that think they're superior to you, merely because you discovered Paramore through Twilight are dumb. It's as simple as that :D. They should be glad their favorite band just gained another fan.

of course not. even if your favourite songs were decode and I caught myself but you still listened to paramore's music you would still be a fan. The whole before or after twilight is a dumb and immature way to make pathetic jerks who like paramore feel better bout themselves. Fo some reason they seem to think they're better. They're not. They don't seem to realise there are plenty of other people like them who don't mention the whole 'I'm better coz I liked paramore before twilight'. In fact I think mentioning that doesn't make you a bigger fan, it's just anpain in the arse. In my opinion it doesn't matter if you found out about paramore after or through twilight. If you love them for who they are and as a band you're just as much as a loyal fan as the person who was at their first show in their area. The only thing I don't like (apart from the comparison thing) is the 'I like paramore only because they're in twilight and I'm going to a show just because of that and it doesn't matter that I don't know any other songs by them' and I do know people like that. And (sorry for always using this example) one of my closest friends found out about paramore through twilight and she's as big a fan as I am. We are both going to the show and we are bth fans. end of. Surely if we are true paramore fans (as much as I hate the way that phrase is used) we should be happy that paramore doing well? What music you listen to or when you found out about a band has nothing to do with whether you're a good person or a bad person. Remember that. And you're still a paramore fan. And no immature jerk can change that. Screw that guy who tells you you aren't really a fan and know that everyone else (including paramore themselves) are glad that you are a part of the parafamily.

agree with everyone here. me personally, i hate twilight, but seriously, if u like a band through a movie it doesnt matter. if u appreciate the music doesnt matter how u found them. i remember i really got into the offspring when i heard "want you bad" on american pie 2.

I wasnt a music person at all (literally didnt listen to anything or even own an ipod) till i heard decode and discovered how awsome paramore is by cheaking out all of their songs. now music is the most important thing in my life and its all thanks to twilight (well and coz paramore rock). if twilight didnt exist i would have never discovered paramore, which lead me to falling in love with paramore, and then olther bands, and my obsession with all my music.
i really wish i discovered paramore when they first began, i feel really sad cos i missed out on being a fan the whole way through and anticipating their first album or even each demo as it came... i think id understand them or know more tht way too. (sorry kinda unrelated)...

I found them WAAAAAY after twilight came out (it was like July last year or something), through my friend who nagged me for yonks to listen to them. :)
Doesn't matter how you found them as long as you appreciate their music and support them as we all do here :) welcome to the community :D
I found Paramore through Twilight - and I love Twilight for that. It doesn't make you a bad person. The bad person is the one who not accept the way you found Paramore
No a fan is a fan no matter how you discovered their music you're still a fan.
