When I first saw him I thought- NO WAY! I honestly didn't think he was going to be any good. But I must say I was completely surprised!

he is really gd but he cant be as gd as david
cos he was the best but matt is really gd in

I think he's pretty good but they'll never find anyone as good as David Tenant they should bring him back for like one episode.

i was going 2 give up watching dr who. i missed it and iplayer suks and has kinda crashed. no1 can live up2 DT, he was awesome. MS was ok, and amy was gd.
i thought i'd give up watching doctor who altogether but he was actually really good. you can't really compare him to david tennant tho, he was just amazing, the best doctor yet. But matt is still pretty good and amy is a great companion :D
I completely agree. David was amazing, i loved him and almost broke into tears when wilfred knocked. David was an amazing actor, dont believe me... watch the family of blood episode. Anyways just because he took davids spot i was ready to hate him, but that first episode made me like him. I like matt and the 11th doctor... but im not going to say they are better then the 10th/david. Now Amy i loooooooooooove. I dnot really know what it is about her but i really like her. Before Marta was my favorite companion ever, but Amy might exceed her in the next few episodes.

David Tennant was so amazing that I convinced myself that I'd hate Matt, but he was really funny and quite good looking with his braces ;)....but the sonic screwdriver was green?!

David Tennant will always be my favourite :) but I thought Matt Smith actually did really well - he's definitley wierd enough to pull off playing the doctor :P

I think David Tennant is better and i did think he lived up to the standards of David Tennant a little bit but not much.
Nobody can live up to the standards of David Tennant but Matt Smith has made the role his own which is good. @yellowsocks Christopher Eccleston was ok I liked him in the role he was a good Doctor but tennant was better.

Did anyone acctually like Christopher Eccleston. I thought he was really good, but he seemed more 'dark' and mysterious.
I don't think anyone can live up to tennant, but he was pretty amazing :)

I like Matt Smith, i didn't think that he would be very good at being him, but i think he suits it :D
He was pretty funny and so was Amy :) it reminds me a bit of Ten and Donna, which is cute. We'll see in a few episodes time if he's any better ;)

but its only be 1 episode, because i mean, when christopher left, and i found out david was doing it i didn't like the idea of christopher leaving, but i loved david tennant. i think we'll have a clearer idea when its been a few episodes :)

There already is a Doctor Who thread but I thought he was good, he didn't need to live up to David cos Matt made the part his own and that's why I think he's gonna be pretty good in his own way.
