I think Katy would have if I'm honest. I haven't noticed anything about her breathing in the slightest. I know when she's dancing on stage she lipsyncs sometimes but that's common.
No, it isn't. The face she puts on is to be different and to enjoy yourself. Whether it's at a party getting drunk or not. She has ONE song about getting drunk really, and that's tik tok. In Take It Off she has a reference towards whiskey but that's once. otherwise it's jsuta bout enjoying yourself.

She's about fun. She is NOT a drunken whore at all. she doesn't go out selling her body around and she barely even goes clubbing. She's just a fun loving person so writes about it.
First impressions are important, I agree. But she's known now. Her video is now over 20 million views. It's gone up 18 million in less than a week. She is out there and people WILL be looking to see what she does next.

Yup, I already saw that video. I have to agree she was really good. But these videos are really rare. Have you watched her performance in CMA's? It wasn't very good, but entertaining.

Ke$ha CAN sing. Listen to The Harold Song. Her songs use Autotune to make them catchy and different. She was signed for her vocal skills, not for her ability to use autotune.
Rebecca Black is a 13 year old girl. Her music was produced, written and filmed by the same company. It's autotuned because they want her to be like Ke$ha, obviously. she CAN actually sing, if you'd researched this then you'd know.
Eminem, he isn't a singer. He's a rapper. But when he does sing he actually can. Cleanin' Out My Closet for instance. His voice is really a pretty nice voice when he sings. It doesn't sound nasally at all. but as I said, he's a rapper. not a singer.
Music industry is all about improvement. Look at Hayley, she wouldn't have been able to hit the All I Wanted notes back in AWKIF days. To say that because you don't like their style make them bad singers isn't fair when they ARE good singers.

@Matt, If you take it literally, then yes every mainstream artist can sing (even birds can). But what I really wanted to express in my words "Bruno Mars can actually sing" is that other artist does not have the quality of being a"good"singer.
