Q: How much is it to join?
A: $30 not including shipping. Shipping is (typically) an additional $10 or so. If you are a 3rd year member, you will have the option of purchasing a PFC hoodie for an additional $30 bringing your renewal amount to $60. This is only available to people in their 3rd year.
Q: How long is a membership good for?
A: One year from the day you joined. Unless you are in your 3rd year, then your membership is extended to 15 months. (you get an additional 3 months added)
Q: What is included in the membership package?
A: (not sold online or in stores): A fan club t-shirt, 2 PFC buttons, A sticker. (2010)
The 2011 Package will include a fan club t-shirt, 4 buttons, and a membership card. (As far as I know, the card has no actual function like webstore discounts, etc.)
Q: How long will it take to receive my membership package?
A: Typically 4-8 weeks, but this time also varies depending on where you live, and if items are on backorder.
Q: What are the benefits of joining the fan club?
A: (*Somewhat) Exclusive photos, videos, member-only contests, the option to purchase pre-sale tickets, the opportunity to win a meet & greet pass, the opportunity to win early entrance to the concert (on occasion this is an option), the opportunity to make some great friends who are Paramore fans as well, online discount on merchandise, info in advance regarding tour dates, etc.
* Some photos and videos have been known to leak on the internet, but FBR & Artist Arena have been doing a pretty good job lately at keeping the content from being leaked.
Q: Do I have to be a member of the fan club to get a meet & greet pass?
A: Yes. The only way to get more than 1 person in is if you are under 12 years of age, then a parent or guardian may go in with you but can not interact with the band.
Q: How do I get a meet & greet pass?
A: If you are part of the fan club and the tour is offering the chance to win a M&G, there will be a sign up in advance and the winners will be chosen at random. Being in the fan club does not guarantee that you will get a meet & greet pass. Once the winners are chosen, they will be notified via e-mail prior to the day of the tour date that will be attended.
Q: If somebody else has a meet & greet pass and can not attend, can I have their pass?
A: This varies by tour. In some cases meet and greet passes may be transfered to another member of the Paramore fan club who is attending that same tour date. This is something that must be discussed in advance with Marion who is currently in charge of PFC via Artist Arena.

Q: Do I have to be in the fan club to get pit tickets?
A: If you act quick, then no. It does help to get your tickets in advance through the pre-sale because ticket sales are typically on a first come, first serve basis. Good chance you can get pit tickets if you get your tickets right when they go on sale or the day they are on sale to the general public.
Q: Does the band ever go into the forums or fan club chat room?
A: The forums, not so much. Once in a while at any random time of day or night (literally) a band member might stroll into the chat room for a while.
- Honestly, in my own personal opinion, you have about the same chance of chatting with a member as you would on livejournal/ustream/twitter or any public form of chat. A lot of people trying to talk to one person at the same time = chaos. The chat (usually) slows down and it gets difficult for anyone to read what's going on & for band members to respond to questions, etc.
Q: I'm new to the fan club, how do I log in to the pfc chatrooms?
A: From this page:
- 1. Head to the FAN CLUB tab at the top of this page.
- 2. From the drop-down menu, click PFC FORUM .
- 3. You will be taken to the pfc forum, which is a different site. Log in with your username and password.
- 4. At the top right of the page, there will be a few links. i.e. FAQ, search, memberlist, enter chatrooms, etc. Click ENTER CHATROOMS and you should be in.

Q: Is it worth my money to join the fan club?
A: Personally, I think so, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Haha. Yes, I'm around. Not as often as I'd like unfortunately. If my college major was in music with an emphasis in Paramore, I would definitely be on the boards, chat, etc. as regularly as I used to. I still try to check in from time to time. :)

@BiggestParawhore At the top of this page, you'll have to go to the Fan Club tab, [ 09. FAN CLUB ] and from the drop down menu, select PFC FORUM. From there, it should take you to the forum message boards (If you're already signed in). After you get to the message board, there will be several links at the top right of the page including FAQ, Search, Memberlist, Enter Chatrooms, etc. Click the "Enter Chatrooms" link and you should be in. :)
In order to get there a little quicker next time, you might want to bookmark the main page of the message boards. From there all you have to do is click on "Enter Chatrooms".
Hope that helped. I'll probably screencap the steps in a few minutes or later today.

people are nice on the boards too. once in a rare while there is some immaturity and stuff might get taken out of context, (on the boards & chat) but that's the internet. there are a wide range of users and different ages. just stuff you have to look past if it happens. most people don't dwell on that sort of thing though, so it helps keep a friendly environment. :)
I like the chatroom. Everyone is always nice.

I thought it would be helpful to share some info. on it because the .net site doesn't really say much about it. I'm pretty sure most people thinking of joining would want to know what exactly they are getting into. :)

- Once you log in are on the main page, there will be several tabs located towards the top of the page. Click on the Community tab, and from there you will find the main link to the message boards (TOPFC Message Boards), and the link to the chat (TOPFC Chat Board)
