So, it's Friday 13th today, OMG! SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPENNNN!!!!
Personally, I don't think it's anything to fear, I mean hell some people have a phobia of it (friggatriskaidekaphobia). I think superstitions are stupid, like walk under a ladder and it's bad luck? I've walked under plenty of ladders and nothing bad has happened.
Just because one person who regarded Friday 13th as an unlucky day died on Friday 13th November in 1869, now everybody is scared of it?
Anyhow, I'm not trying to insult anyone who may have a fear of the day or anything, but can anyone give me an example of something disastrous happening on Friday 13th? Because I can't remember anything that's happened on that particular day that's any worse than any other day, I mean why aren't people afraid of September 11th? (Sorry it had to be used a an example, horrible disaster, no offence intended) Surely that would make more sense to be afraid of that day?
Well, that's that, feel free to comment below and flame me for my comments or do what this topic is intended for and give me opinions and examples of why Friday 13th is bad.

I think their was a airplane accident on friday the 13th a couple of years ago but I'm not sure. I really don't believe in that stuff but its always fun to mess when stuff like this.

Aha, I never actually knew why Friday 13th was considered unlucky, now I do. I had to clean the bathroom today. I guess you could count that as unlucky.

I've had a pretty normal day so far. I don't believe in superstitions anyway, and that's probably the key - if you don't believe it, you don't think about it, and if you don't think about it, you won't attract anything bad.
My brother-in-law died on Friday the 13th. He was 40 years old.
He died while driving home from work. He wasn't feeling well. Died instantly, had an aneurysm that burst between his heart and lungs. He drown in his own blood. Very sad.
I don't know bout anyone else but today's been pretty good.

Ah that might explain a few things but what's 666 then? I always thought of that as the number of the devil? (Probably from The Omen, hardly a reliable source xD) Maybe I guess a few people, possibly Christians more than anything would be scared by those facts, but still, I'm hardly religious, my Religious Eductaion teacher at school clothes-lined me...
Apparantly it comes from a Friday being the day people were hanged and '13' being the number of the Devil. Witches covens were made of 12 Witches with the 13th member being the Devil. Pretty scary stuff but great subject!!!

Well, the weather here is so bad, if my house flooded I wouldn't be blaming it on Friday 13th lets put it that way, it's been raining for near enough the last 2 weeks every day without fail, yesterday may aswell have been a tsunami :| And that made me laugh, a hoover in a storm of hoovers haha. What exactly is a storm of hoovers? Do they just gather together floating in the sky and create something stronger than a hurricane? And just rip houses off the ground? Anyhoo that's how I'd imagine a storm of hoovers xD And what is wrong with you today?

Don't worry, I touched the biggest damn tree I could find after I did it (let's hope it wasn't artificial) And it always could, I guess I won't know until it happens!

Haha ah well I'm sorry about that, but I'm pretty sure I tied Jason to a boulder and threw him in a lake when he tried to kill me, so he shouldn't be back anytime soon. And I guess it's never really struck me as a 'bad' or unlucky day, Idk, because I've never experienced anything bad on that day, but wth, I guess it's something I'll never understand xD
