Hey pplz i heard a few rumours or ideas that we should get as many people as possible to get glow sticks for the slow songs like only exception misguided ghosts etc. So i am definantly in any one else? We have to be sure not to crack the sticks till a slow song starts i think it will be cool for the band to look out and see us all doing this.

I didn't realise that Sydney got theirs confiscated? I had mine in my bag and no one checked it. I'm not surprised that the band requested no glo sticks. I don't know why people would think they like having them thrown at them.

I hear quite a lot of them got confiscated! I handed out 55 at the box office, mainly to PFCers with M&G or EE and I've been hearing that because of what happened in NZ that the band requested no glow sticks.
I got in with mine though no problem, it was tied around my neck and noone batted an eyelid.

hey guys i have an idea everyone who has an account on here should write there account name on there arm or something coz its a good way to no who everyone is :) i heard others done it at other shows and i rekon it would be pretty cool to do :)
just tell everyone not to throw them at the band xD
cause everytime I watch a live show of them w/ glowsticks, 1or 2 idiots throws them at the band. And it wasn't nice at all.
I'm just glad my glow sticks turned up on Friday cause I ordered them online! Dunno what I would've done with 57 glow sticks if they'd arrived on Monday (could take them to the Metallica concert next week but somehow I doubt it'd go as well)

No one at Sydney cared about the glo sticks so maybe it was just the venue at Melbourne that had a problem. I can see how they can be considered weapons, people kept chucking them at the stage!! Glo sticks are for glowing and looking pretty not for throwing. :P
i think if you guys r takin glow sticks hide it...and i think good idea to hand it out before u go in coz i went to the show in melb..and they say u r not allow any glow sticks as it consider to be a type of weapon :O

for the only exception and other slow songs, I just got back from buying a bunch of the braclet kind and two actual stick ones XD wish i had mates goin with me but sounds like every one there will be kewl

well hopefully no buttholes will throw them, yeah im gonna like tuck them inside my shirt or in my pockets till im inside
I've got 55 - 5 glow bracelet thingys, 20 yellow glow sticks and 30 orange ones. The other venues have been alright with this except for Melbourne where many were confiscated at the door - so maybe watch out for that and keep them out of sight until The Only Exception (or at least until you're inside).
Oh & be careful who gets them, some people have been throwing them at the band.
i'm going to buy a whole bunch and hand them out and throw them out in the mosh
