    Hey everyone!

I was just thinking about Paramore and where they are currently touring in the world. And then it got me thinking further. Has anyone noticed that Paramore doesn't really tour that much in the actual United States? This is just my viewpoint/opinion on this. I feel like for some reason they haven't toured in the US for a good amount of time. I know they have to perform for all of their fans around the world but I really miss being able to get tickets for a show in my state. They will probably tour in the US again when they release another CD but I just feel like it's been a really long time for the US. Does anyone think the same thing? Any opinion is welcomed.

Also I have NOTHING against any Paramore fans outside of the US. This was just something I thought about randomly. lol

they haven't been in Mexico since 2008 :/ No BNE tour for the Mexican parawhores :/

MiNdY.♥'s picture

They toured in the US and not US about evenly I'd say. It's been two years for US and only one for them. But then it will go back around to where they have to wait too.

panda98wayy's picture

Well I was thinking of going to the US to see them hahah. But I'm just waiting to they come to the UK its just a matter of time;I'm sure when they complete their new album they will be touring everywhere :D

laparyork's picture

omg paramore tour USA all the time in comparison to where i live. dont complain

Rachel Fabuleux's picture

I thought you said "Any opinion is welcomed." in your discussion topic?

So my extremely welcomed opinion is that they tour here enough. I paid for a friend and I to take a trip and we drove 8 hours to LA so I could see MCR live. And I'm 15. If a 15 year old can save up for that kind of road trip then I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem doing it. So no, I don't think it's a matter of Paramore neglecting your city, it's a matter of the lengths you would take to go see them live.

The Moster's Daughter's picture

Yea i totally agree!! They hardly come to my state. If they do, its only for a couple hours, or in a city thats really far away.

You sound like a broken record.

The thing you guys need to realize, is that the US is way WAY bigger than most other countries-most of our STATES are bigger than countries.

So yeah-they may play here a lot, but the US is also a big country

the size of America is irrelevant. Travelling to another country as opposed to travelling to a different state is completely different.

MidnightFelicis97's picture

@Saramore
Then you travel to see them. I saw Panic! At The Disco in London which is a 5 hour trek down because i loved them so much. I'd travel to scotland too if I was THAT much of an obsessed fan as you claim to be. It isn't impossible and if you love them as mucha s you claim then it wouldn't be a problem. People flew to my country last year from different countries entirely JUST to see them and you can't be arsed missioning a wee bit to another state? Bare in mind language barriers and culture change too so whether it be france ot England it WILL be 100% more difficult for someone than it would be for you to go to another state.

As for the matter of "my authority". Where did I even EVER mention the following? "Oh my god bitch, don't you know who the fuck I am? I have 23,000 profile views so that instantly makes you a fugly fucktard and me queen latifah" or ANYTHING of the sort? Sort it woman, seriously.

I'll state my opinion regardless of whether or not I'm THUH MOST FAMOOS PERZON ON THE PARRMORR INTERW3BZ thank you very much and regardless of whether or not it's "rude and selfish". It's my opinion and in your country, as giant as it is. I believe you have freedom of speech?
Try and deny me my freedom to post my opinion and I shall do the same.
Now go make me a sandwich.

paramore_LDN's picture

@javaChip56
county not country.

there were no typo's, county is clearly typed.
UK tour dates were not needed.

Saramore._2's picture

@Matt- Really? Get over yourself. Clearly you think you have so much authority with everything just because everyone knows who you are on this site. It's extremely annoying.
Some of us are just fed up with not being able to see their favorite band, ever. Not just because of location reasons. Maybe think a little more before you post stuff?
I wasn't saying they don't ever play EXACTLY WHERE I LIVE; my point is that they don't play within reach hardly ever, and as a crazy obsessed fan obviously someone like me would want to see them.
I know that by now you think I'm probably being rude and selfish, but frankly IDGAF. I know a lot of people in the upper half of my STATE that would say the same thing.
That is all.

violet cullen's picture

Paramore come to the US plenty. Just because they don't play in your middle of nowhere suburban wasteland doesn't mean they're some neglectful band that hates small town America.

Get over yourself.

Maddi M.'s picture

They're on an INTERNATIONAL tour. Its winding down. They should be back soon

tragically_hip's picture

@guitarluv811

Why post something and then permanently disappear when no one agrees with your viewpoint/opinion?

Btw.
Survey says, you're the only one who thinks that.

muirholland's picture

Im from Ireland and I know Paramore have come here often enough. Its just the fact even though our country is quite small they only play in the capital Dublin. A lot of people dont have transport to get there. Aswell they only ever play one date. For me its kinda frustrating.

UpTheWall's picture

Boo-frickin-hoo. They hardly ever come to British Columbia either. I have never seen them live, so be happy you have :(

RAWR I AM TORI's picture

Wow, Matt, that was really well put. Bravo, *claps*

MidnightFelicis97's picture

@Saramore
Again, you're showing a vast amount of ignorance and pure stupidity. The UK got 6 dates each in 2009 and 2010. they haven't played 2011 AT ALL. They last played in 07 otherwise.

Does that seem fair to you?
You sound like a fucking moaning child because Paramore aren't playing in your living room. God forbid going to other counties. If you didn't see them it's YOUR fault. not the other countries who haven't had them step foot in their country before.

2010: Honda Civic Tour
2009: Brand New Eyes Tour/Warped
2008: Final Riot Tour/Warped
2007: Riot Tour/Warped
2006: Warped Tour/US Headlining tour
They've toured in the US every year since they've been touring.
Stop complaining.
There are some countries, like Indonesia, that have never had Paramore come, and they're coming for the first time this summer. So stop complaining that they aren't here, because they need to go to the places they haven't because there's other Paramore fans outside of the US

RAWR I AM TORI's picture

I don't feel that way, I'm lucky, they come to Nashville and Atlanta almost every year, and I live close to both. ^_^

cre8ive0971's picture

YES! i feel the same way. i live in the US and they havnt been to my state in about 2 yrs. maybe they make more $ when they tour internationally. hopefully they will stop here in the near future

ru4art2's picture

I agree with Saramore. The only shows we get around here are country stars and rappers, at least where I live in the US. Sure there are festivals, but those can be quite expensive. I think the last time they came near enough to my city for me to be able to go to was the No Doubt tour. I was super stoked when I found out they were playing Warped, but then found out they weren't playing anywhere near my city. :-/

So yeah-they may play here a lot, but the US is also a big country....

MissCarlaRose's picture

I was thinking about that a few weeks ago, even though im only from the UK, a tiny wittle country compared to the giant US of A. There's what, 52 states or something in the US? and last summer Paramore did about 40 shows, which sounds A LOT, but if you think about it, that's less than one show per state, so a lot of you guys will have to travel really far to the nearest venue. Am I right? yet, when they have previously come to the UK, they do about 8 different shows, in a country half the size of California, who might get one, maybe two shows if their lucky. I mean, it's great for us Brits, but it is a little unfair to like, the rest of the planet, who, if their country is lucky enough to have a Paramore show, the nearest one to their area, is like hundreds of miles away, then I see it as unfair to the rest of the world. Yes, they may have more shows in the US than anywhere else, but when you compare it to how many people who actualy live there, thats where it gets all messed up.

Herson Madrid's picture

Well they have one major tour in the United States every like 2 years. Then a smaller tour then touring around the world. The smaller shows in those countries. The 1 & 1/2 year break for album writing. According to my calculations :D

Emicia's picture

Apparently you don't live in the US if you think they hardly tour here.

Seriously?

MartinHardee's picture

If you look at the map of their tours even this summer with their international tours, the US and Canada STILL have more concerts than either Europe or Asia:

http://martinhardee.tumblr.com/post/5943288244/where-in-the-world-is-par...

P.S. Especially counting Hawaii, which is in the United States.

P.P.S. Even for the South America Tour in Feb and March, they stopped in Puerto Rico, which is in the exotic ... (wait for it).. United States!
