wow just read the article that guy has way to much spare time. could do with getting out more.
i do media studies and we have to do similar things to analysing why colours, sybols and words have been used. but honestly its a waste of time because the people who make music videos dont put as much thought into it as people who analyse what they've done.

that supposedly if you play some of Paramore songs backwards you can subliminally here them talk about Satan. You can make up stuff like that with anyones song if you tried hard enough, so I don't believe it...even if I did hear it. That was not an intention of Paramore.
