    ^^^^^ I really love this.

    In my opinion, you should appreciate music wherever it is. I haven't been to the subway station for a while so, yeah.. I was the little child they described in the article. My parents would keep pushing me away.

    I thought it was really interesting and decided to share :)

Yeah, I know! What is up with these people spending so much money on clothes when you can go to walmart and get clothes for $10. But I can see 1 problem with people not sending money to Africa. How would you know it's getting to Africa. What if it's a scam. Some people I know decided to sponsor some kids through a program on T.V. when the people sent them a picture of the kid they were sponsoring it was the same picture for all three of my freinds, They were supposed to have gotten different pics. It was a big scam. By the way LOVE your name! I want a cinnamon Roll now.

I totally agree with Paramorecrazed!!! I also feel so bad sometimes because people can spend $300 dollars on shoes or a Coach bag but they won't give that money to a family starving in Africa.

People need to stop and appreciate things just for one moment in your life. Think about how life would be without the things you have. Think about air,homes,clothes,food,beatiful things, technology. Just one moment to take things in even if your busy. Life is too short not to enjoy it. Be appreciative of things like good freinds, good parents. Things could be a lot worse. Some people have no appreciation at all and take everything for granted.

@Luci
It's not really the point. It's a metaphor and an example. It's not an indepth study into why people didn't admire it or couldn't stop for the time. It's just saying "this genius, world wide famous musician is playing his best piece of work and no one stops to pay attention to him. if they can't stop and admire his brilliance and the beauty of the work he's playing then what can they stop for?"

As much as those people may not have stopped to listen to the music, it's not necessarily because they didnt want to. We all have jobs to attend, work to do, places to go, people we need to see, and sadly these things dont always allow time to stop and smell the flowers.
Taking in the world and realizing it's beauty is important. But being able to support yourself is needed to live regardless of the beautiful things you have to miss because of it.

It's not just about music, it's about life.
Like people that live in Paris, those that see things like the Louvre and the Eiffel tower every single day but don't stop to appreciate the amazing sites before them, the art and the beauty.
Then it can be a metaphor for your life, everything in it.
Your friends, the good times, you sitting here, reading what I'm writing. You should take EVERYTHING in, appreciate everything in your life. If you really enjoy the good times then you won't miss them, you'll be happy they've been past.
