    RIGHT THIS IS SERIOUS!!

Everyone is upset (i cried to, and i should be too old to cry over a band), but if we don't start focusing on the Paramore that is left, we could lose them altogether. This final leg, could be the last time that they tour. Don't forget that there were three members at one point before and they came back from that. I'm thinking that Taylors brother is going to join, like he did when Josh was on a break. That shold be an easy transition because he has been 'tested' as a bandmember and accepted by the audience.

Hayley has already said that they are writing this year. Josh will be a loss here, so i hope they have that covered already. (As i put on the discussion board). Paramore have always been about committment: commitment from the band to the fans, from the fans to the band. The bands committment to each other and their shared future. If some band member don't share that, well i am very sad about that, but they are a weakness in that circle of committment. I wish them well but they aren't part of Exclamation Paramore anymore

I think that we should all accept that Josh and Zac left, and just enjoy Paramore's music. After all, that is what it's all about.

SugarCoatedBullet's picture

I believe every part of that. Josh and Zac will be a loss to Paramore as they are the reason Paramore actually started. Zac was a monster behind the drums and Josh played guitar to envy many and wrote the most incredible songs. Whatever they do, and the remaining members of Paramore do, we support them all the way because we are their fans and without them, they'd be playing the songs we love to empty crowds.

ParamoreAddict_17's picture

As you all know, Josh and Zac left Paramore. But Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor are not giving up. It’s a huge change for the fans, but it’s also a huge change for Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor.

They need us, they need to see we are supporting them, no matter what.

In the 6 years that Paramore have been around they have had many ups and downs within the band and they have always pulled through and they will pull through this, Yes it will be hard not having Josh and Zac in the band anymore, But Paramore are commited to carrying on and we as fans should not let them down, I like many of you are sad at this news and i'm lucky that i have seen them together but its not the end of the band and we should look forward to the the future.
I would just like to say Thankyou to Josh and Zac for being a part of Paramore and i wish them luck in there next venture.

Aisling_5's picture

They will always be my favourite band, always, and as heartbreaking as this is, I am so happy with Hayley, Taylor and Jeremy for sticking with us. No one will ever replace Paramore as my favourite band. I support them 100%

LovelyLabrys's picture

Edited title - some of you were right about the 'new'. Two people have left, but Paramore has always been about more than the names on the instruments.

"We are Paramore" words are not just Hayley says to introduce the people on stage. She said this when performing live in November (perhaps with these events in mind?).

They are a sound, an attitude, a movement, the old band members, a style, a set of values, an image, their families/friends, any new memberts, the Paramore family, the PFC, the regular fans, , It's not an introduction, it's all of the above "WE ARE PARAMORE"

There still going to be awesome, like Hayley said they knew that this was coming for a while, So I assume they've had time to prepare, I personally can't wait for a new album in the coming future. Writing it in 2011 aren't they?

la_shezzatron's picture

yeah @Rachel Fabuleux - you go girl! lol! youre so right! they do have lives and they deserve to be happy, and as someone who has been so influenced by their music, and its brought me more happiness than i cant express, i wish Josh and Zac all that is good and full of love and joyful, cause thats what they deserve in life. and we are so lucky that we can still say the name Paramore and that it still means something and im so greatful to Hayley Jeremy and Taylor for not giving up - i know God will bless them and give them the strength they need to make 2011 even better than 2010 has been

ilettheflamesbegin's picture

I agree, but it isn't really a "new" Paramore.
Hayley hasn't become a sellout, her alongside Jeremy and Taylor and down to earth just as much as we are. They won't ever forget about us. We're one huge worldwide family, each of us, in our own ways may be sad for the time being, but if we're true fans we'll stick by them no matter what. We have before, when they almost fell apart after Riot, and when the other guys left in AWKIF. We just have to stick by them. and I'm hoping that this next album will be better than ever. I think they just need a fresh start in the new year.

Luke C's picture

I'll support Paramore 100% no matter what.

Alex V.'s picture

Please don't say "the new Paramore", it kind of sucks. :( Paramore was, is and will always be Paramore. :')

We have to support Jeremy, Taylor and Hayley on their journey. We can't leave them alone when they need us the most. This is when we proove our loyalty to the band. I also think that Justin York will take Josh's place as lead guitarrist, or Taylor's as rythm guitarrist. But I don't know who might be the new drummer (Travis Barker, perhaps? xD ) I wish the Farro brothers the best. They are amazing people. God bless them. I still wish at some point in the future, Josh and Zac will join the band again, but that's their decision, and I respect it.

PARAWHORES! Let's stand together for Paramore. They need our support more than ever!

SoCal's picture

Paramore is a Band ! I will always be a fan because of Hayley's singing and performances.

But when Half the band quits they will have to prove themselves all over again with a new Album showing "they Still got it."

@mecoolgal

Nice, just copy and paste some idiot's discussion because you're too stupid to write something yourself.

Listen up. Josh is MARRIED. He barely gets to spend any time with his wife. He wants to start a family. Of course he wants to settle down.

Zac NEVER gets to spend any time with his family. He didn't even finish middle school. He sacrificed his childhood for music. His little sister doesn't even know who he is other then a face on a poster. He misses his family and he's not happy.

Why would you think they forgot about us? It's been immensely hard for them ever since Riot, I'm surprised they pulled through another album. They are HUMAN, they have FAMILIES. They have lives outside of their music and you need to shut the fuck up and realize that for a second. Their hearts aren't in it any more and they aren't happy, of course they want to move on with their lives.

This is a time where people need to be supportive about the transition, not bitch and whine about it.

mecoolgal123kiss's picture

"our fans mean everything to us" "we're stronger than ever" - I'm so pissed. It doesn't seem to me as if they care about there fans at all. Now they have "made it" and made more than enough cash to live comfortably, they forget about us. I honestly don't understand why they would leave. There is obviously more to it. Why WASTE a career so many people would literally kill for. Not to mention the pure waste of talent. I'm disappointed in the boy's. Hayley's turned into a Diva and a sell out. What has happened to them :( this isn't right. aghhh. FML.

Paramore are no more.

Sad it ended this way. REALLY, REALLY SAD.

la_shezzatron's picture

Yeah i agree we totally need to support Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor in this new chapter of Paramore - dynamics have changed before and it worked to make the band stronger and i see no reason for that not to happen now - i know it will be hard for them, but it cant be any harder than being in a band and trying to make music with people who dont want to be there anymore... I personally really like Jon Howard, ive seen him play with them 3 times now and i think he fits in really well with the band, and the fact that they were leaving could have been part of the reason he bacame a touring member...im not sure what will happen, but i know i will be right there standing by them and supporting their decisions, i know it will all work out for the best - WE ARE PARAMORE!

UpTheWall's picture

What about Jon Howard? He could be a possible replacement, since he's already a touring member. Justin is a former touring member and I believe he's in another band at the moment

LovelyLabrys's picture

This much more significant because this has happened during their most successful period. However, Paramore have three albums, only one of which they did as a five piece band. The majority of their work was done without the Hayley, Jeremy, Josh, Taylor, Zac format.

Infact every single one of their albums has seen the band format change afterward, and they get better and more successful album. No reason why this shouldn't happen again. Hell, yes!

ParaReece's picture

@Hey_Paramore yeah hopefully. I mean if they wrote BNE about their struggles and eveything then this could further their writing of new songs.

paramoregeek♪♫'s picture

Your right. we all just need to support them and try to move on

Hey_Paramore_3's picture

i agree with ParaReece
i bet their next album will be about this maybe, their struggle with the change? i dunno but i support the in whatever they do

ParaReece's picture

I honestly think a lot of people overreacted. Most of them were just like BUT JOSH IS HOT HE CANT LEAVE.
which is just sad.

Yes, its sad. But like you said there are still three members left. VersaEmerge get on great with three members. I'm sure Paramore can too.
There's always light at the end of the tunnel, and Josh and Zac's departure could even open up an opportunity for some really strong songs to get written.

ALi P_2's picture

thank you. everyone is overreacting. yeah its sad. i'm gonna miss the farros. but we have to move on. and be glad that we still have hayley, jeremy, and taylor.

bemyparamour3's picture

I couldn't agree more. this all feels tragic just now but when Parmore come out with something new, we will all realise everything is okay and as paramore fans, we shouldn't question what happened we should accept it and embrace it. its a whole new paramore, for all we know it could be better. we all have to wait and see what the future holds. as their fans, stay strong.

LovelyLabrys's picture

I too am upset about the guys leaving, but my first panic reaction when i read the headline on twitter was that the band are splitting up.

I am HUGELY relieved that this is not the case, and i am soooo grateful for that.

However, that is the first reaction of so many other people out there. The band need to keep all those new fans they have made this year, and build on it if they are to survive. Not an easy thing to do when they are taking time off anyway, without losing band members.

I know that it is very soon, and the news hasn't sunk in for some but the band has never needed such a strong show of public support. We need to be on Twitter/Facebook etc. Writing to Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Spin. If they EVER needed our support it is NOW.

Again, "WE ARE PARAMORE"
