Yeah.. I didn't like BNE as much as I like RIOT!...
I only like two or three songs from BNE. Being that Riot! I liked them all!
I think Hayley's voice sounds weird in some songs, not bad.. but weird at last..LIke in the song Misguided Gosts.. or Where the lines Overlap..
The only songs I liked were: Carefull, Ignorance, Brick by Boring Brick, Playing God.. and stop counting..
I hope not generate any controversy, but it is.
I love brand new eyes, it literraly made me see the world with brand new eyes, i've never been able to relate to a bands album as much as i have with brand new eyes, but AWKIF will never be beaten for me personally, because it was the album that made me push and get into rock music. without that album i don't know what crap i'd be listening to.
I dont see how you dont like it. I mean i know its your opinion but i think BNE is great. Its not better then AWKIF but i mean if you really listen to the lyrics in all the songs each of them can relate to something in your life at one time. And she sounds greatn them too. Personally i love the new album.

Her voice is deffinately more edited in BNE. Like when I first heard BBBB I didnt even know it was her. But you get used to it after a while. I like Riot! A lot more to be honest, because of the lyrics and the music. But BNE is still good.
at first i didn't like a lot of the songs on BNE but they grew on me over time
Wow, BNE is my favorite paramore album. then its AWKIF then RIOT!. its not that i dont like RIOT! its just that i like those other two cds more.
there is alot of screaming from hayley in brand new eyes, not so much singing sometimes and this album has ALOT of sad songs so I can see why someone would not like it as much as the other albums cause thats how I feel sometimes. I still like brand new eyes though.
The sound of the new album is better, but the problem is the balance and the lenght

i'm not sure what you mean when you say she sounds "weird" in misguided ghosts. i think hayley sounds amazing in that song. everyone knows she can belt out an upbeat tune, but i'm sure it's not easy to sing a song like that. i like that they're exploring new styles :)
i kinda think their album has to much pop influence this time around but i guess thats what happens when you become more mainstream. dont get me wrong i still like it just not as much as the other 2 albums.
If you didn't like BNE. You shouldn't say it here anymore. Because this is paramore.net, All members here are paramore fans and they might get offended. Brand New Eyes is great and it's really different from the previous albums or paramore. You may not like it at firstm but when you see the beauty of BNE, I'm sure you will not just loike it but love it too! :)
bne is so different to what they've done in their other albums, so obviously it's not going to appeal everyone. when i heard where the lines overlap live before the album was released i was like "...okayy?" but now the more i listen to it the more i love it.
well, i LOVE bne..but i kinda agree with you a little bit...she DOES sound weird in misguided ghost..like the way she says the word "from" she makes it sound like a feist song..and lol, i hate feist. but i like "where the lines overlap" and BBBB and ignorance ya te ya teh ya ta.and the only exception..but ur right again..i liked ALL of the songs on RIOT!..but then on BNE, only like, a little more than few..than thats it. but everyone is saying that they like BNE bcuz they matured..blah blha blah..yes, of course they matured . they dont have to repeat it over and over. but BNE is just pretty much..idk..i dont think it has as much rock in it then riot.
I agre with Kamilla, and i also prefere it because of the passion it releases, its much more personal and mature than the rest of the albums.

I actually like BNE more than Riot!, you can hear they are more mature and I love how Hayley's voice is sounding in BNE. She has such a powerful voice on this record, she really gives her all and she sounds so much more confident :)
i actually like it. but i think youll like it soon. thats always happan to me when i listening to some album, i dont like it at first, but than i start like it :D

Well thats because BNE is not a rock out album like RIOT...theres more emotion in BNE and its more passionate and personal then their other albums..
bne is just diffrent sounds.
i like them all the same amount. but what i like bne is its variety. there a bunch of different kinds of songs on it. :) but i don't know, i don't really have a least favorite or favorite album from them. for me, they all are great in different ways. :)

Each album is good in its way.
AWKIF: It had alot of good rock vibes, and good lyrics
RIOT: It had a more pop-punk feel, and it was good coz it went platinum
BNE: It has alot of meaning, and has a mixture :)
I also think RIOT is my fave, but I still love BNE
I've listened to it like 20 times xD

I personally think that several don't like as much as Riot!, but that's ok, everyone has their own opinion, everything counts!, is a constructive criticism, i think on this new album their sound is more mature, but i like.
Every album has its charm.
