Okay. So, like, I first heard of Paramore through Twilight. I never heard of them before then. But, I decided to listen to the rest of their albums and i love literally all of their music. Even their unreleased songs and covers.
And at first, I didn't understand why some of you hated Twilight fans who just like paramore because of Decode. Now, I do. Granted, I found out about paramore through Twilight, I love paramore. point. blank. period. They are amazing artists. I have all their albums and such now.
However, this girl. Is a twilight obsessed fan. And, when she saw me and my other friend talking about BNE, she was like 'im not a fan of rock but i'll check it out.' this was like 2 days ago. Today she bought BNE. and i asked what do you know about paramore? Have you even listened to their other songs? How long have you liked them. This is what she said:
I just barely branched off R&B. I told my coworker to program my radio with something new, and she picked some station I dont know... thats where I started listening to rock. BUT.... I dont know anyone by name. Dont know the names of songs. I blame my cousin for getting me on Country.... Tim Mcgraw was always cool... Loved Carrie since Idol... Taylor, since I heard You Belong With Me like.... a couple months ago.
But as far as Paramore goes, I just barely heard of them. Like I said Deocode I loved... I dont know if that was me being biased though cause of Twilight... but I listened to this cd and liked it. My cousin has been trying to get me to listen to one of their old albums but I always told her I didnt like rock bands. So she never forced it on me."
I agree totaly, I was introduced by twilight (in my oppinion the only good thing about that movie was the soundtrack) and I am a paramore fan through and through and have totaly disconnected it from twilight in my mind and hate the people who rave about it and about how great decode is!!

i said "some" because SOME do. i made sure not to say 'all' so you guys wouldn't think that's what i was saying.
But yeah. Decode is a great song but it's like after you really listen to their songs, they are so much more than that. Music isn't what it used to be. Its more about sales now than anything. Artists singing about things they know nothing about. It's like paramore is one of the few original groups that use music for its original purpose and not for monetary purposes, you know? That's why they get so much of my respect.
First of all. It's DECODE. Not Deocode. :)
Second, we don't hate people who like Paramore, after Twilight.
It's just that these people call themselves fans, just because they heard Decode and they love it.
And that's is just one song of Paramore.
