i mean back in jan. of 07 when i first heard themm.....i fell in LOVE....for real....fucking LOVE AWKIF...RIOT! was awesome...but i find...with BNE....im losing my love for the band i once loved...cus to be honest...i found bne to be bland...yes a few songs stick out....but....i preordered and was kinda let down....not really digging bne...i sold my deluxe copy to a close friend and fellow paramore fiend...but i find myself listening to RIOT! almost completely over BNE>...am i alone? dont get me wrong...i will STILL kill for a chance to see them live...but....idk...

i agree with everyone who says they are around the same age as the band, i just checked hayleys age again and i realise shes 6 months younger than me, thats why bne stands out the most, every song speaks the truth everything i can relate too... and its a hell of a lot better than riot... its more rock its more real and you cant ignore how much more talented they have become!!!

To me: brand new eyes is their BEST album. It's way better than RIOT! in my opinion. Hayley put so much effort in those lyrics, it's really obvious, because you can actually get the feeling in every single song, unlike RIOT!'s lyrics, not that they suck, but what I'm trying to say is that bne's are so amazing and better in my opinion. And what about the music?!, I have to admit that when I first listened to bne, I thought it was so soft, I was shocked with Careful, Ignorance, Brick By Boring Brick, Looking Up, Where The Lines Overlap and All I Wanted, I didn't like the rest of the album, but it grew up on me, and now I love EVERY single song! and I think the music is better than ever, great job guys. I think they're getting better and better. This is my top 3
1.- brand new eyes
2.- RIOT!
3.- All We Know is Falling
And my top 3 bne songs:
1.- Careful (I'll be so happy if it becomes their 3rd single!)
2.- Brick By Boring Brick
3.- Ignorance
At first I thought this but I gave it time and grew into it. I love it now.
Each album is a progression of the band and how they've grown. There are some MAJOR differences in all 3. Personally, I love BNE. It shows how they've matured and it's actually telling a story. Not that their other albums haven't but you can tell they really put themselves into this album. And I can most DEF relate to what they're saying. But just because you don't particularly care for it doesn't make you any less of a fan because there may be some fans who prefer AWKIF over the others or BNE over the others. It's no different. Maybe you have a RIOT! frame of mind right now where you relate more to that than anything else LOL. You never know. BNE may grow on you someday. So it's okay. If paramore saw this, they'd respect your opinion. :)
I dont know. In 10 years I can lose all my love for them, more I will never lose the admiration I have for them. Their work is incredible. And of course, Hayley will always be the person with the coolest clothes I've ever seen.
just because you're not such a huge fan of BNE doesn't mean you can't still love Paramore. i think maybe you just had a problem with the album and not the band itself. nothing to beat yourself up over. it happens. :)

Wow. No, I disagree, they've just matured. RIOT! was so commercial, and that's how you might dislike BNE enough to sell it. I think BNE is their best yet. They keep climbing to the top and will eventually conquer all. (:

well i don't agree .. cause brand new eyes it's awesome .. and you're right in the fact that riot! was more .. like rock .. and in bne it's more mature as nicoX448 said .. i found it more mature .. and in riot was more punk and rock .. and they have grown up as a band so they need to change their sound in the different ways that they feel.. but all the records are awesome and i still loving paramore as i use to .. cause they are the best band ever i have ever know n they keep rockin' with every record they do ?

I like Riot! More than BNE but I still think BNE is completely amazing. Riot! just has an awesome vibe to it.
BNE is to.... Mature? I miss the old Paramore of 05, and even 07 but I still love them no matter what.
I thought that at first but then i warmed to it and i started relating to it and now im spoilt for choice on which song i play next haha =D
I adore the new album, I play it over the others, need to start listening to them again. I love the diversity of the new album, and I guess their next album is going to be mindblowing, with a fusion of all albums. :-)

I think BNE iss way weaker than the 2 before...but i guess it´s jsut because of the style change in their music...hope they´ll mix up old and new style ... fusing the sound of all we know and bbbb ( jsut for example) could be rly sick ^^
I have to agree with Venellot. Bne is an amazing record to me because I have a lot to relate with the songs on that album. I can relate to just about every single song. That album came at a time when I needed something to remind that I wasn't alone with the whole growing up and life's difficulties. Going to college and finding out who your true friends are (who may not be the one's you were friends with for over 7 years) is a hard road to growing up and there's no right way so...You'll come to find that you'll grow into this one as well...I have hope...You're not done...I hope to be able to get a deluxe edition....
i think if ur younger you are not really going through the same things as the hayley or the band was when they wrote BNE so you cant really relate.dont get mad at that but its the truth. im 20 so i have gone thru the things on the album, i have lost old very close friends but have gained amazing new ones, have left for college and just changed and evolved in general and its shows how much they have grow since AWIF and Riot! and that is why i love it. alot of paramore fans are still young. and a lot of us who are the same age have grown up listening to them the past 5 yrs and we have experienced the changes in a similar time line as the band. personally BNE is my favorite record of all three with AWIF second and Riot! third. with all the covers, bsides and demos mixed in. if you listen to AWIF Riot! and BNE you can hear how everyone has grown up personally and musically. i feel bad that you feel this way but once again i think it really is an age thing and if you wanna hear the same all stuff from a band you love other than hearing them evolve thats up to you but i would be extremely bored.

....!!!!!!! 1.careful. is just amazing. 2.ignorance... catchy as! dont listen to it as much because i was listening to it repeatedly in july! 3. playing god... really catchy and the lyrics are awesome! 4. bbbb amazing amazing amazing. (the end will be awesome live) 5.turn it off. love it! (but its the one i listen least to!) 6.the only exception...this has to be the song that stands out for you because its beautiful! 7. feeling sorry, yet again another one to get the crowd going, 8.looking up... song im most looking forward to seeing live because it makes you scream and sing along and dance 9.misguided ghosts, only today i listened to it and fully got its meaning and its so different to usual paramore its LUSH! and finally 10. all i wanted... her voice gives me goose bumps.
sorry for that haha. but how can you say its bland? there first album has some classics, riot... sooo pop and commercial even though its awesome.. now this is the album that will make them big... its incredible how talented they are when there so young... i cannot wait to see it live!
i hope you do listen to it more because it is honestly just amazing haha amazing amazing amazing... i couldnt imagine not loving them!!!!!!

At first day when BNE was out I had the same feelings...but it´s okay now.Look,they grew up and changed and that´s natural...
we are just people.. :)
