I really wanted Paramore to win because they're are amazing.
But they didn't. I don't like PCD but I don't think it's right to say that Jai Ho is a lame and dumb song because it does have a proper meaning and i'm not saying that Decode doesn't. I don't even think that PCD version of Jai Ho is the official version for Slumdog Millionaire anyway.
I wanted Decode to win just like everyone else but it didn't so I think people should get over it and stop complaining. Paramore aren't complaining, are they?
I KNOW RIGHT?! I cannot BELIEVE that they were'nt nominated for anything! They deserved every stinkin' award, not to mention that Taylor Swift won best female singer or whatever you call it! Now that is messed up.

ohmyjosh when i heard, i cried. i was SO sure that Paramore would win! but when you look at it one way, it's sorta good that they lost. now they won't always be the Twilight band.
but i'm also REALLY pissed off. Decode was the best of all the songs nominated.
during one of my many rants on it, i said 'the Grammy people know nothing about music'...and it's sorta true. they went for all the obvious choices.
Slumdog millionaire is a much better movie than Twilight, but the Twilight soundtrack was pretty good. I mean, Muse, two Paramore songs... Jai Ho is the most boring and repetitive song in the entire universe! how the hell did it win?!?!?!
Slumdog Millionaire's soundtrack was way better than Twilight's, and I loved Twilight's soundtrack. Slumdog was an all around better movie. but the biggest problem was it seemed Taylor Sift tried to upstage Stevie Nicks, and she won grammies for country and she doesn't even play country.
Even though they lost, it is still really awesome that they were nominated for the grammys! Not many rock groups get that oppurtunity anymore. I love paramore, I support them 100%!
@ILoveParamore..<3: This Category has nothing to do with what genre music is. Its the Relationship between the Movie and the music and how both sync well with each other. Without the Movie, Jai ho MAYBE awful but once again, this has nothing to do with Pop, Rock, Jazz, Metal or whatever. Yes Jai Ho won because of the movie and Jai Ho Fits great into the Movie. Thats why they won.
