I hate that black has that "emo" connotation. It's just a pigment. Just because I wear green doesn't mean I'm jealous, or just because I wear red doesn't mean I'm angry or in love (speaking of which, don't you find it funny that red can represent rage or love: "take the pain out of love and love won't exist" haha)
Anyway. Wear whatever you want. Who cares what the color is? If you like it, then wear it.
