I do. Its alright, if its like an off the-record track or just some songs from artists you don't really like, or just a song. I mean i do it to everything, sometimes (for paramore) i want to try and buy their albums, but its just so damn expensive. I know its not good, because the music industry is really tight with money and illegal downloading is becoming a huge problem. When i get the money like the guy below. I want to buy the songs, i downloaded illegally. - some anyway :P
It's called file sharing and in some places it's legal.

Who do you think gave you the tools to File Share? The same people or companies (Sony) that tell you that it's illegal. lol
@My_Little_Decoy, i think your theory of it being ok if you make it up with merch or whatever is amazing! i can't believe i never thought of it that way :)
I buy all my CD's off hmv, and if I get an itunes card for my birthday or whatever, i'll use that to buy individual songs.
I only download songs illegally if they're rare ones that aren't in CD form.
I think it's okay to illegally download if you make it up to the artist in other ways, such as buying their merchendise or going to one of their gigs
Yep. But only when i have no money, or i feel as if theres better things i can could spend. I've never downloaded anything illegally for my favourite bands (Paramore, MCR, AAR, YMAS, Elliot Minor). Except old's demos, acoustic that you can't buy, not the BNE ones, or just any rare songs. Album songs i usually buy. Bands i'm not fussed about but would like the albums i download.
I have done in the past but only songs that are'nt available to buy. I prefer not to do it though because you have to be careful when downloading illegally not just because of it being illegal but some downloads contain viruses and can mess up your computer or ipod.

I used to. Not anymore, I'm satisfied with Spotify.
i get some songs from cd´s, others i illegally download them and others i buy them.
I buy Cd's, and songs off iTunes, but some songs you can't get/buy anywhere, so those are the songs I download.

The only Paramore song I did that for was Swim in Silence coz it wasn't available so I converted it from a YouTube video, oops :P
