I haven't been here in a while.
Actually I was on this website before we could even have account.
I remember I would spend my life here. So tonight I was there listening to some paramore music, feeling nostalgic since i'm not such a fan anymore. So I just came here, so weird. I used to know everyone here. Well most of them.
I remember, when I started to like paramore, and tell it to people they would told me : " Who the hell re you talking about ? " I liked it. I'm happy they went so far, I'm just sad it turned out this way.
What way ? Oh I'm not gonna explain this. You'd be way too bored and I'm not here to start an argument. Oh please don't you dare trying to start one with me. D:<
Anyone was there back then ? Anyone remember when there were like 400 threads and people would complain there were too much of them (lol) ?
Anyone remembers that "huge" fight between paramore fans and green day fans because of fuse.tv and some fans were cheating with a freeware called ghostsumthing ( I don't remember exactly gimme a break. :( ) and some green day fans would be sneaking in paramore website ? Oh and damn it, it's been 2 years, it's time for me to admit that I cheated with that freeware because I wanted paramore to win trololol. HOW UNCOOL IS THIS.
Remember those threads about " omg twiligtzsolame lol 2 mush f8ke fans."
On one hand there were the old fans who thought they were the " real " ones because they knew them before. and on the other hand, new fans saying they weren't fake. ( ok I'm not stating the things I miss, just the things I remember.)
Wayyyyyyy too much threads about hayley's hair.
I remember when in the community home there was the most active fans list. ( I WAS IN THAT DAMN LIST. :D Sorry, yes I meant to brag.)
Every threads were wayyyyy too repetitive.
Oh and btw, I was 15 by then, nearly 16. Paramore.net helped me with my english so much ( I'm french hehe.) I don't think my english would be that good nowadays without this website. So yeah. That's it.

I guess history repeats itself because all the things you listed about the threads being repeated and Hayley's hair is so true.
And hey. Don't hate on the Twilight fans. I'm thankful of that movie because without it I wouldn't have found my blessed Paramore. Even though I already know that that's pathetic and respect all the real fans. I am so jealous of everyone thats been here since the start. But I can say I'll be here until the end.

I don't understand why it matters to you what other people like and what's popular. If you're interested in something, let it be a band or book or film, it's not like you created some sacred thing and everyone is copying your ideas. They're simply interested in something you like, and wouldn't that be a good thing? It doesn't matter what other people like, because you know you like it, and that's all you can control.
@THG_Paramore thankyou! Finally someone understands me. I mean, I don't hate it when people like stuff I knew about WAY before them, I just get irritated when they act like they're the ones who found out about it and discovered something really cool. Haha :)
Yeah I remember the fight thing where certain people considered that, those who came to know about paramore through 'Twilight' are fake and those who knew them earlier are real.
It didn't make any sense after all, and I actually got to know how stupid people can be. A fan is a fan, its not fake or real.
Well even I'm not into paramore as I used to be. I feel their earlier songs were much better, plus I've been listening to new bands and artists like I happen to like MCR these days :P
I love paramore. This site is so entertaining, and I love talking to my friends here and to keep up to date with new paramore stuff :)

After that, we lost against gaga.
The band has changed a lot. I'm not blaming. Every band does at some point.
I remember the Green Day Fuse thing. It was Ghost Mouse or something wasn't it? Then lots of Green Day fans were coming onto these forums to bash Paramore.
Seems weird to think of those as 'the good old days' haha.
Lots of Paramore fans are feeling nostalgic lately it seems. A lot has changed in a short time, and many fans are moving on to new music.

Like; The Hunger Games. I can truly say that I did not start reading The Hunger Games because my friends liked them. They actually haven't heard of them.. But I LIKE to be the only one that like stuff ''normal'' people hasn't even heard of. I like to be the first one that experience the joy of, perhaps Paramore or the Hunger Games.
Then, I told one or two of my friends ''You should read this book called The Hunger Games, I think you would like them.'', and suddenly they told 15 other people, and that's just.. Not how you do it, y'all know what I mean?
And I told my other frien about it, and she was all like 'not you to'... Gaaash. It's so annoying! But I'll stop here. Done.
Can I make a confession? Ok I will anyway, haha. Well sometimes I like bands partly because they're not extremely well known. I hate it when people start liking them and their music gets all this airplay ALL over the media. Is this anything to do with what we're talking about? I don't know. But then I tell myself that these types of bands actually DESERVE all this fame and glory, so I still love them. I don't know, that's just my completely irrelevant opinion. Haha I'll finish now :)

I remember all that. Paramore.net was my homepage when it was the old one. For about 6 months or something? Awesome.
I miss when it made more sense like that to be honest. I mainly come onto this site to impart some wisdom on the stupider fans, to keep up to date with new paramore stuff and to talk to the many friends I have on the site.
I've grown up from Paramore too. I'm more diverse in my music than I was. I love Paramore and their music but it isn't the same. I reckon the fans killed it for me. I joke, but seriously ;D

I've been over them for one year, I don't think i'll get back to it. ;)
But I know the feeling, I did the same with paramore once. I always thought I was gonna be back to it someday, but it never came back.
But I cried when josh and zac left. Totally. I was ok with it. and then I told my sister and all of a sudden, I didn't even saw it coming, but I started to cry.
My guess is that I grew up.
I'm done with my osbession. But I still like them. ( don't get me wrong I don't call obsessed people immature.)

I got on the list for a little but, never too close to the top but it was still cool.
I suppose people grow in and out of bands :) Though loving a band feels awesome, it's true. I went through a huge Paramore obsession, then I started listening to other bands and kind of got over it. But after I while I got back into them and now I love them more than ever. So it might come back, sometimes you just get burned out once you have too much of a good thing.

I know this will sound weird, but I miss loving paramore so much. I still like them, but I just got over it, god only knows how and why.

I visited this site once or twice before you could have a membership, but I started going on regularly about a month after this version came out. Soo much has happened.
Remember the really freakin long Paramore roleplay? That was er...that was something. Hahaha.
And the most active fans list! I was a bit obsessed.
