So I had someone tell me that since I'm bi I'm going to hell cause being gay, lesbian, or bi is against god. They went on to say that the people who are gay, lesbian, or bi choose to be that way. I'm so fucking sick of people saying dumb shit like that, it makes them seem so evil and stupid to me. If you're saying we choose to be that way that means you woke up one day and said "you know what I'm choosing to not be gay", how the fuck does that make any sense!? Trust me none chooses to be that way it's just the way you are, why would you choose to be one of the most hated and looked down upon people around!? Sorry is this offends or makes some people mad, but really I don't care I feel it's important to see this. If gay means happy why the fuck won't people let the gay, lesbian, and bi people be happy!? This world is full of so many hateful stupid people who don't even understand what a struggle it is to be that way. There's been many times I wished I wasn't bi, cause I been beaten down for it for whole life. You know what now I'm happy to say I'm bi and anyone who has an issue with gay, lesbian, or bi people can kiss my ass! I'm done now I just really needed to say that.

So many people believe that though cause of these dumb ass preachers in some churches, telling everyone it's bad and against god. Be proud of who you are. Anyone who tells anyone else that they aren't allowed their "promised peace and happiness" after they die deserve to go to hell themselves. Not trying to be offensive, but overly religious people who actually believe shit like that are just intolerant asses who don't realize that our world is changing. I have two gay people in my family and I am 100% accepting of them and anyone else who lives that lifestyle. They deserve the same respect as a "normal" person.

@bethwasbornforthis Yeah I don't let people get away with bashing me anymore at all. Wow thanks for saying that, it means so much to know I can impact someone like that. I owe my life to my music it's got me through a lot of stuff. I was only 17 when I left to move to New York, and it was a very difficult time for me at first. I left everything behind to do what I've always dreamed of doing. I'm not even close to where I want to be, but I'm getting there slowly.

The world is full of ignorant people, always will be. but theres always gonna be some people that are really accepting, and nice people. i'm glad your proud to be you now! Trust me, if i had your taent i wouldn't let someone bashing me about because i was bi hold me down at all! Your the sort of person who really makes my, and i'm sure other peoples day. You've overcome all of this, you moved out at a really young age to persue something you loved.

For whoever told you you were going to hell for being bi, that's not true. The only way you can go to hell is denying God and not accepting him as your Savior. There are so many bi/gay/lesbian Christians, and God forgives them and loves them. I know that for a fact. And even if you aren't Christian, God loves you also. And I'm a Christian, I have nothing against bi/gay/lesbian people. I don't fully understand it, but that doesn't mean I should hate on people who do. I know you have your reasons for being the way you are, and I hope that you can find peace with yourself and others and get through this and come out on the other side happy! :)

i'm straight but it makes me really mad to see how ignorant people are and how they think that being gay is a crime. like my sister has this gay friend nathan, and her boyfriend (now her ex) hated nathan and was homophobic. hearing people stand up for gays/lesbians/bis is really good and i would like to cheerfully beat all those people who are so closed minded that they have to hate on people who think differently than they do. like my friend xochitl was like "yeah my friend lacey's a lesbian" and someone was like "why do you still hang out with them then? don't you think its weird that they might...LIKE you or something?" and its people that are horrible enough to tear down gay rights that should go to hell (if hell does exist) and not the people who are suffering
@Stephanie H. With me all my friends know and my family knows, but with family it's like something they never talk about. Everyone I have in my life pretty much supports me except my dad and stepmom cause they're hardcore Christians who believe it's a choice and all that shit. SO I never really talk to them and I'm fine with that. The world is full of ignorant close minded assholes that thrive off bringing other people down. I just don't let it bring me down I channel it into my writing. It brings me so much joy for you to say this means a lot to people! That's the whole reason why I write is too help myself and others, and I hope to one day spread this message to everyone I can.
I'm so glad someone is talking about this.this is something I like to hear about.I'm bi and well I told my friends last year. At first they were kinda wierd about it but now that completely support me. I tell one of friends about all the support I have and it makes her feel kind of bad. She's bi too and most of her friends don't support her. They actually told her they would never talk to her again. That really breaks my heart to hear that after years of freindship would be ruined all because of who she happens to like. Really sucks how some people don't get it. They don't see the other side of the stories. And they have no idea how hurtfull or destructive thier words could be. Somebody told me that I was going to he'll because I was bi and I didn't really think much of it. But ignorance is something destructive...

my cousin is 22 years old, and his father was never around to spend time with him. so it was him and his mom and little sister, surrounded by 7 of his girl cousins. now, he may act like one of us sometimes but he cant help it u know, his dad left him :( so when they mentioned that ricky matin is gay puerto rico went crazzyy with gay jokes X(!!! ugh, they think its funny but its cruel, they offend my cousin all the time for being a bit girly sometimes though hes not gay ... ugh its horrible makes me wantto kick something>:(
