the reason the government isn't already making it legal and taxing the crap out of it is because people can obviously grow it like they are doing now and they still wont be making much profit from it.
The fact is that people who smoke weed dont even want ti legalised because it will be way more expensive because of tax and so will probably still buy it from drug dealers illegally to bypass the tax so it will never happen.

More people are not likely to smoke it just because it is legal. The law has never been a problem for people who want to do something. I know this first hand.

Alcohol only damages you if you commit excesses. If yo don't, wine even helps with some cardiac problems and, this is a known fact, it has antioxidants. Again..., EVERY EXCESS IS BAD.

Okey..., do you know people who consumes marihuana? I do, many. It's not a good thing, it's not as alcohol. They are kind of distracted all the time, they aren't succesful with their studies, and they keep doing it because is the only thing that keepts them from confronting their lifes. Alcohol, drinked wisely, isn't dangerous at all, my parents drink a glass dayly, and join them sometimes, and we are all healthy persons. Those people I know, people I tried to 'rescue', have scaped from my hands I have given up on them... don't take such kind of drug that easy.

I'm for it. It's effects have been proven to be just as bad as alcohol. If they won't legalize it, they should make alcohol illegal. But that's never gonna happen. The government make far to much money from taxing alcohol to ever do it. So the logical conclusion is to legalize it.
But most stoners would rather be cautioned for possesion than have to pay a massive tax on weed.

I think people are overeacting. It would do much less harm to your body than alchohol and cigerettes.
