Okay, I loved the video, but the end kinda creeped me out. THE LITTLE GIRL DIED! WHAT DID SHE DO WRONG? And Hayley let it happen! WTF?! When I saw her fall in I was laughing but then the guy started burrying her!! And she was probably still alive! WTF?!?! CHILD KILLER. I wish they didn't have that ending it was an overload of creepiness.
@pArAsLuT Seriously? I was just saying it was a weird way to put things. I know it's fantasy. How does that make me impessionable. It's a f*cking music video, it's not like it's going to make a huge deal if I don't understand it. And I know it's symbolic, it's just weird they made it symbolic in that way. Whatever, this isn't worth my time.
It was meant to be Hayley burying her childhood fears, or her childhood innocence.
@Misguided Ghost & @ThisHeart_ItBeats...
Yeah, I kinda figured that out afterward lol
Its symbolic.
yah, it sorta creeped me out too, but then i watched it again and got the concept.
technically, she didn't "fall" there were stairs. and , well, i think it is bringing her back to reality
"that guy" was josh ya know :P
@screaminghallelujah is right.
p.s. @LovesForgottenMe "the guy" was josh, in case you didn't know
@screaminghallelujah Exactly!
i liked the ending
and i think the little girl was supposed to be hayley
i think this is what the vid was supposed to show
so this little girl is living in what she see's as almost a living hell, so shes built herself up a fantasy life with castles and princes and queens ect. She keeps going through this fairy tale/ real life life. When she falls into the hole, that like falling back into reality and when josh starts burrying her, he's keeping her in reality; getting her head out of the clouds. Hayley is helping her when she lets her stay there
I liked the end
ps. that video is the most amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing video in the world, and i think it has such an amazing deep meaning, and i LOVE the ending.
ok the girl in the video "IS" supposed to be hayley going through all the trials and tribulations of the world . when she falls in the grave its saying that she grown up and living in the real world , so "well bury the castle" is saying well bury that false sense of security ( that being the little girl which is supposed to be hayley's immaturity , and innocence). shes grown up and built her house brick by boring brick , an dis now living in the real world. so the wolf cant blow it down ;)
Yeah I agree with Shannon, that's what I thought of the video too.. Very clever I reckon, was kind of amusing watching her fall inot the hole though too!!
=)
ya, i laughed when i saw it though, haha :)
I know it's symbolic but it's still really weird.
ya, hayley obviously wouldnt do that in real life. I think it was representing hayley and her like child like youth, dying, and letting go of the doll, is kind of like letting it all go and excepting that her and the guys are all growing up. at least, thats how i see it.
I don't really think the girl died it was kind of a thing where they wanted to express that the girl came back in reality and it goes with the metaphor to burry the castle....because she lives in a fairytale...but in the end discovers that if it's not real you can't hold i t with your hand, feel it with your heart...but if it's real you can see it with your eyes....and decides reality is better...
well, i think its symbolic, like the innocence that believed in the fairytale died
