I'm an old fashion guy. I love to listen my music the old way i.e. insert a cd into a try. I also love high defination(HD) sound. I got good speakers(Tannoy). Therefore, I can't get the same quality with downloded stuff e.g. Use Sombody, Sunday Bloody Sunday & Long Distance Call.
I a huge difference when listening to Ignorence with a computer speakers @ 320kbs or IPOD with a little ear phone vs my 26" tall Tannoy speakers, just imaging listening to Paramore song ++ thoes big Woofers i.e. pump up the volume maximum. That's why I love Paramore. If you're into Nora Jones, a IPOD or computer speakers is ok. Thanks guys

I agree, i don't see Paramore starting their 2.0 career with (or by) looking back in any way...and while "Long Distance Call" is a great song and someday should be included in a "rarities" box set or something, I don't think they'l be looking back in any way with the new album and PARTICULALRY doing a cover, and an old one at that.
Lets be clear here -the new album will be about a NEW Paramore doing NEW ORIGINAL songs - something Im looking forward to.
And remember, even if if they were to do a cover on the new album (which they won't THAT'S ONE LESS NEW SONG we'll get.
one final point -don't put all your money on a 2011 album release either..the only fast moving event this year will be the South Americna tour...after that things will slow down as the band wil lbe looking for audtioninig new PERMANENT band members - and they're gonna be real careful doing that - that's gonna take time...factor in songwriting time as well - they'll need some 20-30 songs before they even can start to work an album into shape - you are tlaking late 2011 at the earliest.
Now the band may suprise me here...but i don't think so

Yea, I understand where your coming from here. I really like the "Use Somebody" cover as well. "Bad Romance" was amazing too, but I feel like Paramore is gonna move on at this point which really won't be all that bad :D I just can't wait to see what's in store.

As much as I love Phoenix and Paramore's cover, not on the new album. The whole point is it being 'new'.

Hmm.. I think they should just leave the old stuff behind and start brand new and fresh. But it's just my opinion.
