Songs can be whatever you interpret it to be.
Uhm doesn't the song mean that Hayley is just as lost as us and doesnt know what she is actually doing or what to do next, but people still follow her and look up to her? How does that fit your life, you dont have loads of fans who idolise you? :S I love the song, but no, it doesnt fit.
