    And all that shit.
    Can I just alert you to several points?

    1 - The band has a family and friends.
    Zac said in a recent kerrang interview that he hates being away from home, the whole interview made me feel really sad for him. Apparently his sister doesn't like it too much, so it's causing a rift between them. Their family is a pretty close knit family from what I've heard, the fact that touring so much to please everyone else is causing issues isn't good.
    Each member of Paramore have to sacrifice so much to play for people. Josh got married this year, he celebrated and everything, gave up the Australian show to be with his wife and help plan it all and a HELL of a lot of people still moaned.
    "It's only a wedding. How much planning could it take?!" Something along the lines of the things I've seen people say about it.
    He likes to tour, they all do, but you absolutely have to remember that they have families, friends and loved ones. The same goes for the rest of them, Jerm with Kat, Hayley with Chad and idk about Taylor and Zac but whatever.

    2 - They're people. They have feelings and emotions and all that. Everything you could say as a fan could really badly hurt them. I saw an example just then of this:

    "I mean they're filfthy stinking rich, i'm sure it woulsn't be all that bother to do a show in Aberdeen AND glasgow? goooosshhh.."

    How do you think something like that would make any member feel? I know this is a bit of a mission post and all, and I understand perfectly that they want to see Paramore, I can empathise with that perfectly before you bite my head off.

    The fact is that Paramore give you dates, not so they can come to your home town or whatever, but so people who care enough to get down to the gig can do. Why doesn't that seem fair? I mean, I wanted to see Paramore 4 times this year. I had to sell my tickets to one of the gigs because of my friends University schedule, but I've still seen them twice and I'm going again on friday. Btw, 1 of them was a 3 hour drive away.
    You have to make the effort. They flew thousands of miles, sacrificed a shit load of stuff to come and play for you, you could make the effort to drive a few hundred miles to see them. Ain't hard.
    There are people that have flown into london from other countries to see them, and you can't manage a few miles? Get a grip.

    To the people who want Paramore in your country. They know, they really do. But America and the UK and other English speaking countries make up the vast majority of the Paramore fanbase, you have to understand that they will prioritise them first. They will get to your country eventually. They've said so themselves, they have a hell of a lot of fans and they can only be in 1 place at 1 time. Give them a break yeah?

    It's getting annoying how badly I feel for them a lot of the time.

@Millie
I'm very British. What can I say?

Renegade 2.0's picture

You have way too much to say about stuff!

Music Is My Life's picture

@Matt

Yes, plus it takes a lot of work to set everything up and they work so hard at everything they do, they need a break. But, people still need to hope for them to come too.

All of your topics are amazingly detailed and have very good points to them!

MidnightFelicis97's picture

@Music
they don't think about Paramore's side of it. They're being self absorbed. The constant demand can become ridiculous you know?

Music Is My Life's picture

Very true, they have lives of their own, and they need to live those lives as well.
But when people leave the "please come to..." discussions, they have the hopes that could become reality to ask and just put it out there, so that they(Paramore or any band)might see it.
There are two sides to this.

ParaForce's picture

Some people are in the military, some are poor, some have parents. These are the people that want Paramore to: go to a city close by. When people say come to nowhereville, MI they mean go to Grand Rapids instead of Detroit.
On the other hand, yeah, i know that its quite unfair that they have to be away from their family and i understand that...its just that they are mainstream now and by going that route, chose to be a touring band.
And i totally agree with the damaging comments half. Those are completely uncalled for! I cant believe that if you love the band so much, you would get so pissed off about a busy band not coming to ur hometown that second.

Wonky Face's picture

True shit right there :P I read the Kerrang! interview and felt rreeallyy sorry for Zac.

SammyBamboozler's picture

Ive been on a 4 hour drive to see them , if you cant be bothered to make the effort to see them, then why should they have to be putting in that much effort and planning?

Lei_5's picture

I agree... We fans should consider that. I wish I could to the US. haha..

ella_riot's picture

so true. i went on a 4 hour flight to see them and i didnt conplain cause their worth it, guys get off your asses, if you really want to see paramore that bad, go to them.

ParamoreFanEmilie's picture

I agree. Like honestly, why do people think that clogging up the discussions boards will actually make their chances of seeing paramore better? they go where they can. It's not their fault that they can't go to every city in the world for every tour.

bethwasbornforthis's picture

@Orla, I agree, i've been doing that already, not sure if it's working, but it might open their eyes.

Amy_42's picture

I agree, Ive never actually seen them in concert, problems with money and shizz, but if I had a ticket and I had to go to Aberdeen, (and I live in yorkshire) I would! Id have to beg forever, but I'd make sacrafices to see them just like they do to see us. Paramores fan base is bigger in english speaking countries, so yeah, they go to them. And if you live in Brazil or something, there not gunna go if they can only sell one concert. Whats the sence in that?!

Not Jim Anyways's picture

Well maybe to make people aware of this if we see a discussion topic Like "Come to here Bla bla bla!" Or a fan ( who honestly shouldnt be a fan in the first place because they're being so unsupportive") being ignorant and just thinking about themselves I think we should just post the link to this topic and maybe it might open some peoples eyes ...

MidnightFelicis97's picture

bump.

Blarg's picture

I agree with this. 100%

Kiira's picture

And yet after a whole day people are STILL posting topics about "OMG PARAMORE PLEEZ COME TO BLAH BLAH BLAH!"

It sickens me to be honest...

eirini.m's picture

I totally agree with u!!!!!:DD:D:

Saramore._2's picture

i agree...it's a different life these guys have, and we don't know how hard it really is. a lot of us really want to be like them...but we don't realize how much we'd have to give up to be famous/have a career in music. i would be nothing without my family and friends.

Hallelujah_6's picture

i completely agree. whenever i can't see a band live i just think "oh well, i hope they come back so i can see them." i don't sit there complaining. in fact just recently i found out 30 Seconds to Mars (who i love) were gonna be touring near me, but i couldn't go. so i just hope they come back again. anyway, i was so lucky to see Paramore live this year, and i would love to see them again. but they definitely need a break. it seems like ever since brand new eyes came out they've been touring non-stop. people need to chill and let them take some time off.

I've noticed all those disussions too and I was thinking the same thing (They have families, friends etc.) Very well said, I agree :)

Nice hat btw XD

HannahSmile's picture

i totally agree!!!
i really hope that they'll take a long breake in 2011.
i would never be able to stay away from my home, my family and my friends as much as they do.
how much off time did they have in 2010. 8 weeks?
i think they'll starting to burn out if they spend as much time on the road as they did in this year. sure, i always hope for a concert in germany, but it's still more important to me, that they are able to spend a lot of time with their family and their friends
@Matt @Forgotten
i also missed a muse concert this year. but i'm sure they'll come back one day :)

Bonjour's picture

Dude this ticks me so much when I see people freak out about Paramore coming to their country. Every member in the band is a person just like everyone else. But some people can't grasp that....

I'm very greatful that I was able to see them this year, and honestly wouldn't mind seeing them again soon. But I'm not going to go all over this website and freak about needing to seem them right at this very second. I respect them as people, not as providers.

MidnightFelicis97's picture

@Forgotten
I know I'm not perfect.
Everyone makes mistakes, you just have to realise what you're saying.

shanty9's picture

you are right....but i want them SO bad here in Bulgaria and still that's my biggest dream :/
BUUT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!

forgotten world's picture

@Matt

I agree they need a break. I totally agree with you. And it's good you wanna show by this discussion how many misteakes we do but you're not holy, man. You're not perfect. I don't know you but tell me who is? who doesn not make misteakes? next time if you would like to blast everyone around you, think that it might hurt.
I don't feel hurt. I agree with you and what you said about Paramore. it's their job. they chose it. I know that every job makes man tired. it's natural.

and I know what you mean with Muse. I felt the same this summer. I was in the same city, in the same time but wrong place and without ticket. frustrating.
the same. I'd kill to see Paramore. but there is chance and I'm not gonna beg them by commenting. I did it once in my life when I signed up here. so one year ago.

MidnightFelicis97's picture

@forgotten world
When Paramore took that break in 2007, I didn't get a chance to see them and I would have loved to. But I didn't complain. I didn't go around moaning about how they should tour here, how unfair it is for the rest of us. It's that kind of pressure that makes being in a band difficult. As fans we should support them, we should be saying "okay, you need a break. But come when you're ready yeah?" Not questioning them, not telling them that they've been everywhere else but not to your country.

Zac has sacrificed his entire normal teen life, Hayley and Josh sacrificed a large portion of it to the fans, to make the music you love now. Can you imagine being on tour since you were 13 year old? Can you, honestly? Knowing what it's like to be away from your family for so long, your friends to make this music that people will one day love?

No one seems to care, they just want more Paramore songs or Paramore to be in their country and all this. It's unfair on Paramore as a band and to the people it effects that you don't think about. Zac's sister doesn't feel like she knows him anymore, imagine what that must be like.
I've always said "I hope they come back" or "I hope they play" I don't say things like "I want them to play. They should play. They need to play" because it's selfish. I love this band, and given the opportunity to see them i will do so as many times as possible, but I won't beg and beg of them to do so.

I'd kill to see Muse or Evanescence, both have been MASSIVE influences on my life for MANY MANY years, longer than Paramore, I couldn't see Muse this year I said "damn, maybe next time".

Don't ask too much of them or they'll burn out.

forgotten world's picture

Matt,
first you should know that there are so many fans of paramore in the world and each fan has a dream ' see Paramore on stage'. \
Imagine you're from small country and Paramore have never been to it. I feel like that because I am still waiting for their show here in my country!
and maybe my dreams will come true next summer. but leave us, still keeping praying for Paramore people alone, please. it's not our fault we love Paramore and wanna see them and hear.
and I agree with u a litlle. they are people and they need free time with family. tour is tiring thing in my opinion and they can not make happy all world. countries (like Poland) have to wait. that's all. and I understand why it's annoying for you. I understand it all.
