Hello Paramore.net,
We've been reading some of the comments on the boards regarding the message board moderation and have heard from several of you guys directly regarding your frustration with some of the message board’s topics being added to the site each day.
This is a challenging issue for us here at ParaWebCrew HQ. As many of you have pointed out, the ParaWebCrew does not interfere much in the message board topics you guys start. Unless your topics break our Ground Rules, we have preferred to allow you to talk about whatever you want.
We were all brought here because of our love for Paramore, but we’re also a diverse community of people that enjoy talking to each other about a wide range of topics. The ParaWebCrew has wanted to allow you guys to do that.
To make this fair for everyone involved, we thought about creating a couple of categories that will be heavily moderated. This way, for those of you who want to be apart of a more structured discussion will be able to, and at the same time, the discussion board will still consist of some leniency, as long as no ground rules are broken. In these heavily moderated categories, anything going up will be fair game for deletion based on a set of guidelines that will be presented to the community. We can incorporate both worlds so that all Paramore fans can coexist and be happy.
As you know, there are a lot of posts that go up everyday and it becomes very challenging to moderate all the threads. We are doing our best to moderate accordingly, however this is your community and we’re here to make it the best we can for you.
As always, we want your feedback. If you find this thread relevant, please comment and let us know how you feel on the subject of Paramore.net message board moderation. What’s working? What’s not? What should we be doing differently?

I think it would be good if you automaticly deleted the topics with no comments for longer than 2 months.

@Ally_PARAMORE i toltally get the point your making, i want to talk about paramore too, i nevercome on here cuase and as you've said, people talk and don't actually discuss and keep there own opions and keep repeating topic, i've onl posted about 2 discussion not about paramore but about my brothers band called Canterbury i'm sure yu've heard of it if you've been in the UK or listening to radio 1

completly understand what page your on right now but everone is just taking everything too far personally i want to talk about all the lastest news on paramore thats why i come on paramore.net but people talk about abortions and what paramore song do you hate? everyones just repeating the same topics and if you read how many topics there are about whats happening to this site then if you read everyones comments there agreeing with everything and saying i just want to talk about paramore soo correct me if im wrong but most of us not all but most of us want to alk about paramore
@Ally_PARAMORE: Well to be fair not everyone wants to keep talking about Paramore cause they'll be obsessed with Paramore all the time and be slightly depressed, so to be fair to everyone the Paramore web crew is giving Paramore fans to discuss whatever they want as long as the convocations/topic and within the paramore.net ground rules. Like for example local bands, unsigned bands they've heard of, like UK/Ireland fans will talk about Canterbury(band), you me at six, music festivals, music shows, etc. get the point now?
people are just taking this too far but its annoying when you read topics not about paramore
well i think that the club is great i personally am not into social networking this is my first in many years plus that fact that it has to do with a band i love alot is a plus i seem to not be able to upload anymore picture of myself or is it set to just paramore pics besides that i would like it alot more if the band themsleves gave some feedback too

More structured categories would make things a lot better for most of us on here who get sick of the spam, hate and repeat topics :)
Also I'd suggest a separate ''Off Topic'' category for anything unrelated to Paramore.

I think that could create an area to all parmore's fan that speaks spanish . Something like the Latin America's area!
Because are a lots of fan that speaks spanish (myself included,im chilean) c,but not are from Mexico or Spain, i refers to Chile,Argentina,an so on.
And would be good that are connect at the same part.

Agree with @C'mon Chickens. Enough with the excuses Web Crew!
I think you need to be able to get rid of the crap that is said about Hayley, Chad and Josh faster than you do.
Also, haters are left on the site for days and days after people have noticed them and started flagging. They need to go faster too.
It's not what you do that I have a problem with, it's the speed you do it at.
Great idea if you ask me. Giving us fans the opportunity to choose which part of the forum we wanna be a part of - that sounds good to me!
Now when we have your attention - I know many of us would like more categories for countries/areas - for example Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). Please atleast consider it? We don't have a category that we fit in.
Personally i think all sections should be moderated.
And there should just be an "off topic" discussion board for everything that doesnt fit into the other categories.
either way, i'm sure you guys will handle it well.

Of course inapropriate stuff should'nt be alowd. Some moderation would come to good use!

Those were just a few different suggestions to help make the website entertaining for all of the fans. Oh and seriously guys thanks for all that you do! I totally understand how hard it is trying to keep up with all of us. So thank you guys so much!
