    This is more of a "blog" than a discussion but that is debatable.

    I am a sophmore in a public school who tries her best and wants to be a Pediatrician. OK, ha, probably not interested until you start reading what I'm writing this very moment.

    Look, I have doubts but I also look at Paramore, and look at what they have accomplished????

    A lot more than I ever will! Or any of you, sorry, but it's true.

    Do I stand a chance in this big world? Medical school? Can I even conquer that?

    Paramore may not be the most popular band but they are still inspirational.

    Boys & Girls, take a good look at your life and think, "Can I even manage this?"

    What road are you taking? Where will it take you? where will YOU take YOURSELF? Our brains are our own GPS system, really, but we let ourselves blame the world for our misunderstanding of direction.

    Without blaming the world, society, parents, school systems, or anyone else, take it upon yourself and realize you ARE in charge of your future.

    If it weren't possible, it wouldn't be happening! People, becoming president, we have a colored president(In America)! That is amazing.

    Why don't we see these as inspirations? We still sit here, waste time on the computer and getting into trouble. Oh, trouble is fun now, just wait.

    I want to know yalls opinion, is it worth it?

    1) Me writing this?

    2) being a pediatrician?

    3) Hoping the teenagers of this world will actually believe they can do what they really want to?

    I wonder how may hate comments I'm going to get ^_^

Most of the people have a goal set in their lives and some achieve them some don't.
The thing is you should be focused on what you're doing and never give up if something comes on your way.

Sitting in front of computer is not a waste. Some things are fun.

I think if you have a goal set, it'd be more worth it to go for it and takes the steps necessary to achieve it than to give it up and settle for something smaller because you're afraid of failing. If you quit something before you start, you aren't allowing yourself the opportunity to be as happy as you could be.

Also, I wouldn't say time on the computer is a waste. Though some goals do take a lot of time, as long as you can manage that time, why not have fun things to do on the side.
