my friends got there at 8, me and my other friend went there at 2pm. there was probably including us enough people to fill the front row of the mosh pit.

me and my friend (the late comers cause we were sick) wondered round the park till the last ppl were let in, we got up the front and on the side, ppl are genuinely nice and when u say excuse me they should let you through.

DO NOT WEAR HEELS. wear sneakers.
dress casually and comfortable.
dont wear a dress
its going to be hot
people were pulled out and people fainted.

i was scared to but where i was was okay.

my other friends who were at the front said it was the worst mosh ever and i know everyone says that paramore pit isnt bad but they had been to kings of leon and simple plan and heaps more and they said paramore was worse than them.

:)

nah i dont think it'll be too scary

like everyone else says definetly don't wear heels, you'll probably break your ankle, i wore New Rocks to the paramore concert i went to which was good cause i couldn't feel people jumping on my feet

wear jeans or shorts, skirts and dresses aren't a good idea cause you get touched in some starange places

your gonna be verrrry close to other people, like sardines in a can close, so like me if you sing and scream and jump around your gonna be absolutely soaked by the end (in yours and other peoples sweat)...also tie your hair up cause it will get sweaty and yuk, i have really long hair so i usually put it in a plait over my shoulder for concerts cause i've had people fall over and grab onto my hair before:/

when they say starts at 7, thats when they seem to actually open the doors, so if i was you i wouldn't go too early..up to you though, i waited in line for like 4 hours and i managed to get pretty close to the front, just use your elbows to get through:p

lastly definetly take water, i made that mistake and by the end i was so dehydrated i almost passed out:/

and i think the most important thing is make sure to take someone withe you, boyfriend, friend, family memeber whoever...you don't want to be in there alone, that shit can get scary, my boyfriend took me to the one i went to and i was really glad cause if it wasn't for him holding on to me i would of ended up being trampled...soooo yeah
there my words of wisdom:)

have fun, it'll be one of the most amazing experiences of your life!

The mosh pit! you'll probolaly get hurt! i did! theres a lot of drunk collage kids there!

Halerrrs's picture

oh my gosh this sounds scary!! lol I will not be going into the mosh pit for my first paramore concert!! I'm short hahaaha

lydiaisabel's picture

I think my friend and I are taking the day off school and lining up all day!
anyway wear flat comfortable shoes that are actually good to stand in for a few hours and to jump in
And its massively hot in the mosh pit. I was at a concert where I got free pit passes so I was ok but all I saw for the whole concert were people being dragged over the railings because they had fainted so bring water with you too!!

Aroha_2's picture

NO to the heels, and you are gonna be soaked with sweat (yours and other peoples XD) real quick once you're in there, so maybe take some water with you, but you won't actually care when you're in the Paramore-zone :P And take a hair tie or tie your hair up

All_WeKnowIs_Falling's picture

you don't need to arrive too early to get to the front, whenever you see a gap just zoom into it. wear closed shoes because you will get your feet stood on and try and avoid standing behind girl's that have long hair that isn't tied up, it gets in your face and when your hot and sweaty...not good. heels probably aren't the best idea and everyone standing behind you will hate you if you stand on their feet, converse are good

myheartisyourslt3's picture

is 9am too early?

Eevie's picture

definately do not wear heels, wear flat shoes like cons cause they are comfy and they wont fall off
and yeah it gets really hot and sweaty so whenever security offer water take it, or if you can bring your own

and yeah get there early to get a good spot, and also your gonna piss off the people who queued for hours to get a spot if you just breeze in you know?

HollieRIOT_146's picture

you can get there at anytime as long as you know how to push youre way through, ive done that to all of the gigs ive been to and i always end up near the front through mosh pits even after leaving my place for the toilet. dont go unless youre absolutely desperate because you are bound to lose your place.. ive always brought a small over the shoulder but dont bring a jacket coz it is bound to get stolen. my friend brought her £50 superdry jacket to a gig and she couldnt find it afterwards. wear tight shoes so it wont come off. hope it helps :)

Flat comfortable shoes that don't come off easily, like Converse, are best because you'll be jumping about like crazy. Don't bring a jacket because it'll be way too hot and sweaty in the pit.
Don't take a backpack beacuse it'll take up room and people can steal stuff out of it, if you have to bring one bring a small one that goes over your shoulder.
Go to the toilet first too xD if you need it in the pit and have to leave, there is NO way you're gonna get back to your place again.
Because it'll be hot you should bring a drink, but my friends and I took bottled water to a gig and the bag-checker people took them off us. They were giving out glasses of ice water over the barricade though because it was so hot.
Yeah you have to go really early if you want a good spot.

The other suggestions here are great.

Mind you, I say bring a water bottle (perferrably one that is disposable) inside. Your voice will prolly get dry cheering and singing along to the songs (depending on what kind of person you are; I was doing both :D). Plus, you don't wanna faint, so there it is :D

Oh, and if you don't like getting your arse grouped, as my brother told me, stay out of the mosh. It's the perfect place for someone to reach out and do that without you noticing who it was exactly. But I've a feeling that won't happen :D

Wear COMFORTABLE SHOES
That is number one.
Then I wore to Kisschasy jeans, and I wore to Paramore shorts BECAUSE of the outside conditions. It's on October, so it will still be fair cold. To avoid having to tie a jacket around your waist whilst in the mosh I reckon go with jeans.

A t-shirt that is comfortable but does not slip down is essential. I'm going to wear my band shirt because I can XD

Also try to go with stuff with pockets. This way you can carry disposable food in the line with you so you don't almost faint like I did in the mosh XD

It's VERY hot and VERY sweaty and VERY bumpy. If you're with a friend, always link arms/hands to avoid been dragged away when the mosh surges forward.

11 or 12 is a good time. We got up at twelve and doors opened at five and we were row three :)

ALWAYS recharge your batteries! My camera died halfway through :'(

It is an awesome experience... but get a bottle of coke or something afterward because you WILL be exhausted.

Remember to have fun :D

P.S if you HAVE to bring a bag, bring a very small over the shoulder one so you can put it in front of you to stop people stealing your stuff.

It is essential to wear lace up shoes, like converse. If you wear any form of slip on shoe which takes less than a minute to put on, you will have a very uncomfortable night. A t-shirt is a must and I personally think shorts are the way to go, and if you want to wear longer pants, wear leggings. It gets extremely hot and unless you are really tall, you will find getting fresh air to be a challenge. You will be very squishy squashy and just have to co-operate with the crowd. Overall, it is an amazing experience and certainly worth it. I would say 11-12 would be alright. If you want very front, aim for about 8am, not kidding. People will arrive earlier than 8am for the front. 11am will secure you a place reasonably close. Drink heaps of water beforehand and make sure you pee before, you won't be able to get out of the mosh until the end of the show. Good luck :)

Sanadu3's picture

I cant really tell you what you should wear because I ALWAYS wear jeans and t-shirts, but wear very confortable shoes! I love them XD lol Im very short, so it was hard for me to see, but I did my best. :3 but two REALLY tall guys stood right in front of me and I got really mad -_- But not out loud :3 its very hot, and u will sweat and touch other peoples sweat :D so have fun!

Vinco.'s picture

ok. so wear jeans, it may get hot, but better than feeling people's leg sweat, Tshirts- theyre gonna get saturated in sweat neways so dont wear your best shirt. most importantly, shoes. do not wear those slip on ballet shoes, or any slip on shoe, you will lose them. so wear like, Converse Chucks, or any lace up shoes. Dont wear volleys, even though they lace up, they are as easy to lose as slip ons. trust me.
yes it is hot. if youre really short, there may be instances where you cannot breathe without inhaling peoples sweat. i am not lying, if your tall good as, like me you can just look to the roof and suck in air from above. hope thats clear enough.

12 is super early
you will be fine, just bring water, i seriously cannot stress that enough
bring water bring water bring water
:)

Dont wear a skirt in a mosh pit! Wear pants!
Wear comfy shoes, your feet will get stomped on.
Yes. Its hot, and you will be squashed & pushed.
All the people squashed up against you will be jumping up and down, hot, sweaty and screaming.

Fun times, can't wait!

When Paramore was here earlier this year, I turned up after the doors had already opened and ended up being a metre or so away from barrier when they took the stage, as xx.parakat.xx said, you just need to try and wriggle around :P

xx.parakat.xx's picture

wear whatever you want you are gonna get soaked either way...
it is probly the most coolest thing ever to experience!!! but you do get pushed and shoved and yeah. it can get brutal.
ummmm well i got to the show half hour before and i managed to get like a metre away from the stage... its a matter of wriggling your way to the front but i guess you could go earlier to get an awesome spot.
hope i helped :)
