it annoys me a lot too and i believe that even if you herd of a band 2 days ago but you know all the songs and a lot about them you are a true fan. But i also believe if someone knew a band since day one that they are a "better fan" (for lack of better words) they just shouldnt rub it in peoples faces. like i never herd of paramore before riot and i know ever song they ever did but i also know that there are better fans then me. i dont know if that made sense or not im really tired....

yeah, you're absolutely right. i hate this kind of thinking "i'm better fan than you because....".
I discovered paramore just 5 months before Riot! Came out, so I've liked them for a while and everyone looks at me weried because I love That's what you get. It sort of annoys me because people are so closed minded that they don't want to listen to paramore's previous songs because they aren't like the only exception. And the radio really know how to kill songs
tbh i agree with you, everyone asks me if i like paramore because of twilight and if brick by boring brick is my fave song. i have to explain that i found out about paramore in 2006 not 2008 and they have more than one album. can everyone just stop being so critical and have an open mind, people look at me weired because my fave paramore song is pressure.

I completely agree with this. I'm kinda ashamed to admit I would have never discovered Paramore if it weren't for Twilight (Decode).
They aren't really noticed here in the UK, so thank you Twilight for introducing me to such a talented, honest, crazy, inspirational band =)
Decode was really addictive so I thought I'd check out some more songs. You know what happens next.
Now I have every single Album, Poster, tons of merch and even an account on Paramore.net. OH! And who saw them On Monday in London (O2 Arena) ?
It was actually epic, I broke down when Hayley Came on and when the whole band came on, it was just awesome to have all my role models on one stage in the same room as me :')
I just wish I had a bbackstage pass :/

So true I think: Oh you knew Paramore people before hey where famous? So did their families! And if your going to try to use that to get your 15 minutes of fame because you knew them at some point in your life than you probably are not one of the people who helped them get where they are today.
Exactly. We know music from bands 'cause we LISTEN TO THEIR MUSIC. It doesn't matter when you started, you've still heard the and and you're still a fan. Why do some people compare? It hardly makes any sense.

some thought that the earlier you know paramore, the better fan you are. such a huge misconception.
Whether you only know ONE Paramore song or ALL Paramore songs, you can still be their biggest fan... Maybe that ONE song that some one knows, could of touched and spoken to them or helped them through whatever they going through... Let it be ~ Paramore wont know if you their biggest fan or not or who even is their biggest fan... just let people be, if they wanna call themselves "Paramores biggest fan" then let them... at the end of the day, WE ALL Paramores biggest fans due to the love and support we constantly giving them ...

@Pinkstreaks I started listening to Paramore because of twilight, but I have all there albums and know almost every song, and yeah I agree, It is annoying when people say there paramores biggest fan and they only know two songs. I've had loads of screaming 'team twilight' eleven year olds saying how much they love paramore and how there the coolest band on the planet and there, there idols, I ask for the band names and there like "I dont know" Its annoying. Really annoying XD
i kind of agree and disagree, because it's like, I understand that, y'know, it doesn't make them less of a fan or anything, but when people say that they're a huge fan of paramore and they only know, like, Decode and I Caught Myself, that's when it's kind of annoying. xD
I loved the song decode, but I knew who they where before twilight, I just didnt listen to there music. I started listening to paramore because they wrote an amazing song for my favourite film, if they didnt I probably wouldnt have listen to them. Paramore fans are Paramore fans, it doesnt matter who liked them first, so I agree. To be honest, yeah, twilight was the reason I started listening to paramore, I mean really listening, it doesnt mean I like everything to do with twilight cause trust me I dont, and Im kinda sick of it now. Paramore are amazing in everyway, and no fan should feel less important just because they didnt know who they where untill they brought a killer record out :)
i kinda agree and disagree. i disagree because die hard twilight fans will like anything jus because it had to do with twilight and they just listen to decode and i caught myself (not that there's anything wrong with those songs theyre uhmazing!) because they were on the twilight album. but i agree because hey anyones entitled to be a fan of watevr they wanna be a fan of, but i just hate the people who pretend they like sumthing because it wuz in twilight

i love twilight and i love paramore it doesnt mean that i loved paramore because of twilight it doesnt really matter if your anti twilight or not the only thing that matters is that we all like paramore. ps to all those who dont like twilight im cool with it but just make sure that you read the story then if you really dont like it fine but if you judge twilight because of the movie well then it's not right

But...
It is annoying when you love a song, then it either gets popular or re-released and EVERYONE starts loving it and singing it.
Especially when it's annoying little kids in school or chavs playing it on the bus on their crappy mobile phones, and you start to relate the song to them!
