I question everyones faith. but can god be proven without faith? i am sorry, we are evolved animals, and religion is just a part of your thought process. humans existed far before any idea of god was ever created and thats a fact. and for that matter how can you explain all the unperfections of life if god is so perfect? There are so many contradictions that it actually makes religion a fairy tale

It's juts something people believe in. I believe in it, but I agree that there isn't really any solid proof seeing that the bible has been translated and edited before. But I believe in Christianity non-the-less. I hope you can respect my opinion as I can respect yours.
not to be mean but saying someone has "blind faith" makes no sense whatsoever. To have faith means to believe in something with seeing it with your very own eyes. You don't need proof to have faith
There is no proof therefore the believers are just invested in blind faith. And honestly, I think that suits them.
They have no proof whatsoever yet the believe and invest their efforts into something we have no proof of, just because they find it comforting to know that some sort of figure is constantly watching over us. Ya know, the basic bull crap.
@Lily Thanks for praying for me, i will pray for you also (after all you can't get too much of prayer) but you got the wrong idea about what i believe. I strongly believe in God and the holy trinity. I am a catholic but thats not how i came to know God. Thats what i was getting at is that you don't one specific religion to come to know God, because thats how it happened for me. I started going to praise and worship services about 4 years ago at a nazarene church on wednesdays. the way they pursued God touched my heart and opened my heart to Jesus and the trinity. I am in a family of five and all my family calls me "the holly roller," or they come to me for advice about God and what they should do. i make christian music too and it has helped me discover the gifts God has given me.
The only reason i asked people to not to be mean in the last comment bc in other forums on this site i get a bunch of people trying to bash me for my faith in God.

Believing in God and Religion are two very seperate and different things. You could be a catholic but not believe in God at all only because your parents force you to go to church. You could be a person who prays all the time, listens to God's will and serves the people in the world before themself and not go to church at all. My point is that the only thing that matters is having a relationship with God the Father Almighty and striving to do his will everyday of your life. Religion helps a lot of people come to know God but thats not the only way it can be done. This is just what i think, trying to not get anyone mad here, ask me questions more about what i said but please don't be mean about it
