    Good afternoon Paramore.net,

    We wanted to let you know that we've been circling up with the Paramore family over here, and we have indeed decided to choose up to 3 trustworthy and active members from the Paramore.net community to help us moderate these boards.

    A few key qualifications:
    -You are an active and known member in good standing with the rest of the community.
    -You will always strive to “do the right thing” by this site and your fellow community members.
    -You will help all of us live up to the ground rules we put down when we started these boards.
    -You will treat your fellow community members fairly and never abuse your powers.
    -You will approach your responsibilities objectively, not play favorites, and always put the interests of the community as a whole over the interests of individuals.

    We hope to have our new moderators chosen and active as soon as possible.

    In the meantime, we will be looking through this thread to determine the list of potential candidates, which we will then share with the rest of the Paramore family for review. Once selected, we will be reaching out to you directly to discuss next steps.

    based on what The ParaWebcrew said, this election is kind of "official". the result of this vote will help ParaWebcrew to choose the right person for moderator position, so please vote.

     

    as you can see, the Parawebcrew has lost almost all the respect from this community these days. many of you think that Parawebcrew is incompetent, can't do their job well, slacker, ignorant, etc, etc... So, we, the community, need a real CHANGE and improvement. We need someone from the community to be our representative (or maybe moderator?) to help us and Parawebcrew get things on paramore.net right. this representative must be someone who care deeply about paramore.net, online almost everyday for monitoring the troll, spammer, spamming troll, haters, groundrules breakers, and topic repeaters. And has been on paramore.net for at least 1 year (so he/she have a knowledge about which one is a troll). the advantages we could get from this representative authority are: 1. super fast troll and troll topics sweeping (parawebcrew only check this site once in three days) 2. the representative have more appropriate knowledge and experience than parawebcrew about which user or topics that is troll (parawebcrew only delete a topic or user based on the flag numbers, they don't care and don't read what is written in a deleted discussion)

    After 3 years of observation on paramore.net, I think these people are the most suitable to be the candidates of representative:

     

    1. Matt

      A very dedicated person. he is online everyday on paramore.net, and popular in the community (18000+ profile views). oh, come on, who doesn't know Matt?

Only 3 people were selected, and were given a very strict set of rules to follow. If a mod is caught being a jerk one time they're out of there, no exceptions. the PWc is doing a test run to see how it will work, trust me, it's gonna be ok.
