ha ha, awesome! i'll get some too! no worries, i'll help hand them out too! :)
RADelaide Dudes and Dudets...i just bought 400 Glowsticks and 10 of the those bigger ones...so those of you who won a M&G i may need you to help me hand them out :) oh the bigger ones are for us ;) haha
@Sammy Ro, I KNOW!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!! a week today! i can't believe it!!!! :)
@theonlyexception WOOP WOOP!! congrats! that's awesome...I know its only like a week away until we meet them!!
OMG!!!! i have never been this excited!!
i won a meet&greet!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
also, i agree, it would prob be better to see them when they are leaving!
There's no flights that late, unless of course they charter their own or bus it to Melbourne which I'd assume is extremely unlikely. It'll have to be an early one the next day (considering the shows aren't scheduled to finish until 11-11:45pm)
they might fly out straight away after the concert. to do like interviews and stuff because Melbourne is much better than adelaide and im from adelaide so shyeah/
that's true i guess. but there's a time they'll have to be pass the gates where you can only go through if you're flying. national and international flights are probably a bit different. the main thing is you can meet them which is something you'll be able to do either way :)
i think it would be quite the opposite...as all they have to do is wait for the flight..as you are meant to get to your flight quite a bit earlier etc...where as if you see them as they are arriving...they have a whole day planned for them so i would assume that would be more rushed...either way they will still greet the fans etc...but meeting them when they are leaving they really have nothing else to do other than chill out and wait for their flight...
i think maybe things might be a bit rushed if you go before they leave. you'd probably still be able to hang out for a bit but maybe like, not as much.
as for anyone going to the melb airport what time will you be going?
Yeah, I was so jealous of Adelaide for exactly that reason - you guys know when they have to fly! Catching them on the way out would be cool just like you guys said, plus you can try talk to them about the show and get merch signed - it's definitely the way I'd go
@lydiaisabel..totally agree... plus they will most probably have to wait around at the airport as well whilst they are waiting to leave...so they will have nothing else to do other than chill :) im definitely going to the airport early on the day after the Adelaide concert :) and happy to take a couple of people if they also want to rock it.
@chenae in my opinion I think you should try and meet them at the airport on the day after the concert because they have a melbourne show that night, so chances are they will be leaving in the morning of that day. It might be better than going the day before or on the day of the adelaide show, because they have more times to come, and there is a greater chance that you may miss them and waste your time for 2 days.
I will be there on the 13th from when the first flight to melbourne is :)
i want to meet them at the airport but i have no idea what time they'd get in and stuff :x
Wooo!
there is like 12 days to go not including this day because yeah its already basically happened.
If you have reserved seating then, it wont matter when you rock up as that seat is yours no matter what...but if you are buying merch etc...you want to make sure you leave yourself enough time to get through the doors, find your seats and buy merch etc. Yeah they will be selling merch on the night...there are normally some merch tents outside the venue as well as merch stores within the venue as well. as for meeting the band....there is always the off chance you may see them at the back entrance or something after the concert or seeing them at the airport....but as for official meet and greets...those winners have already been chosen. I was lucky enough to win won :) wooo haha... basically to be eligible for meet and greets you have to be a pfc member and bought presale tickets.
hey guys, the only concert ive been to is the sundance kids and that was tiny. if i have acutal seats do i have to get there heaps early or not? and does anyone know if their selling merchandise or if we can get our merchandise signed AND meet paramore or do we need special tickets?
ha ha, yeah, definitely not stalkerish in the least! :P
yeah, i agree, i guess everyone will just have to wait until a bit closer to the day!
yeah it will be interesting...im just going to wait until they release the m&g info 48hrs before the concert...and then go from there :) thanks for the heads up :)
The venues don't know yet how the M&Gs are gonna work, some of them don't even realise there is gonna be one yet. Some shows on the HCT recently actually saw the M&G people get in early, do all that stuff, then get back outside and rejoin the queue. Not saying that's what's gonna happen here but just in case you might want to have someone watching your spot in line (as the person who told me about that did)
yea its the first week of school and im having the first 3 days off soo great way to start off 4th term
haha iv taken the day of work on the day before and after the concert and obviously for the concert itself...so ill be there haha
even if they dont come 11th still go 12th
@Ally_PARAMORE... yeah I hear ya... the earlier you line up the better...obviously people with cut the line passes will get in before people that don't etc...not sure how it all exactly works with the lines and stuff and from what iv been told M & G winners get in before everyone else...so im extremely lucky!! but yeah...the safest option is lining up as early as u can :) but if you have set seats then there really isn't much point.
yeah a definitely what you said about flights makes sense
my sisters are getting there at like 5 in the morning and im not telling you this to make it sound like were bigger fans im telling you because theres probs lot of people doing the same that are not on paramore.net soo my opinion is getting there at lunchtime you may get further in the line then you thought but thats just me so whatever and i think they will come the 11th around lunchtimee so half perth half adelaide and they will leave miday 13th like soundwave
im soo excited theres only 17 days how exciting!!
@theonlyexception yeah closer to the day hopefully we should be able to suss it out...Hayley normally keeps us pretty up to date via twitter..especially if they are spending an extra day in one of our home towns...so i think between of all of us checking flights and twitter and also maybe trying to get the heads up from some paramore fans in Perth maybe seeing them before they leave we should be able to work out when they will be arriving!!! woop woop...we aint stalkerish at all... :P
@Sammy Ro, we were thinking of getting there at lunchtime too. yeah, hopefully closer to the day, they might tell us when they are arriving so we can see them at the airport. :)
Does anyone have any idea how many people are attending? I'm interested to see how many fans we have in adelaide :D
i think they'll fly in on the monday because it's be safer in case their flights are delayed/cancelled but just in case im going to the airport on the wednesday because they can only fly out then
i think im lining up in the morning at like 8, but does anyone know whats happening with early entry .?
