@Meghan. They are not working on it right now. They just recorded a few songs to put them out over the summer. After their tours they start working on it i guess. So we have to wait for a little bit longer!
imo they've changed their sound in every record they put out. Which is good 'cause it's a perfect way from keeping their fans bored.

First time I heard it I was like, meh. But I listened to it a few more times and I like it. It's different from their other stuff. Can't wait to hear the full song.
I don't really understand how a lot of you can be saying, "It sounds like their older stuff," because it really doesn't, but I like it and I can't wait to hear the whole song.

That's probably the closest thing to be of compare to their older songs.
well in my opinion it's completely different from their other stuff. it's much heavier and stronger. and i always try to listen to songs in every way. once i listen more to the voice. once to the bass line. guitars, backing vocals etc. the bass line makes it very strong and heavy. and i can honestly say that it's amazing.
Come on people it's slightly dark or maybe heavy sounding compared to any of their old stuff. If you pick a song from AWKIF, it would be totally different, if you pick one from RIOT!, and you think it sounds sort of the same, you need to see an ear doctor and it is definitely different from any song from BNE.
Maybe what gives you the vibe that it sounds sort of similar to their older songs is Hayley's vocal technique which has been a big part of pretty much every single song they record.
Definitely not a bad song because I love it and I actually wanted Paramore to at least try and sound like this.

I'm aware of the fact that it's Paramore but it's a brand new sound. It isn't anything we've heard from them before. The closest to it is Decode and you can't even compare it to that.

@Matt. Well. These 30 seconds remind me of their older stuff. Every album is different. It has its own style. They've changed a lot musicaly and these 30 seconds sound a lot like their older style. Of course we haven't heard it before because it's a new song but we already know this kind of music. It's simply Paramore.
I've had it on repeat for the past while, at first I was skeptic but I'm really enjoying the eeriness of it. I'm excited to hear what the whole thing sounds like.
From the 30 seconds I heard I seem to like it however Ill wait for the full song to come out before I can definitely say I like it.
I love it. Hayley did say the sound would be heavier, and I like it. It doesn't sound like other old Paramore songs and that's a good thing because they're not the old Paramore. There wasn't much of a basis to judge Taylor's drumming, but I liked it. It does seem suited to the soundtrack.

Mhm, but judging the 30 second clip I can't hear it and think "It sounds like AWKIF" or anything like that because it really isn't.
There's nothing like All We Know, Pressure, Emergency, Here We Go Again, Let This Go, Franklin, My Heart or any of it in that song.

It's Hayley's voice and yes, it is slow like some of the songs on AWKIF but that doesn't mean that it's a sound we've heard before because the sound is REALLY heavy sounding. Especially if you're just going on the tempo of it.
Hayley's voice is mixed in with the music and the music is slow and really heavy sounding. In all the other songs her voice is strong and prominent but in this it isn't because of the music.
Of course I like the song, I like all Paramore songs. It's just not anything they've done before.
Well after the lost of two members it should be at least a little different from how they really were and it is "for me".
I really like the track so far but as for new/old paramore debate? I dont know...we cant really say off of only 30 seconds of a song. and i totally agreee with MartinHardee.

@Matt, MuHaHaHa, Anette, I think I need to hear the whole song before I could compare it to previous Paramore songs. The complex structure of their songs is one thing that makes them interesting and unique, and I really can't get a sense of the structure from the 30-second clip.
I really like the 30 seconds I've heard so far, though!
