Does anyone else have parents who don't want them to have anything to do with Paramore? Or are mine just too.....tight?

yeah mine are...well cause they're old they think that modern rock is "bad".....whats with that?
Nope, my mom thought they were okay because I discovered them via my younger cousin. And if her mom (my mom's sister) tolerated them, then I guess she thought they would be okay. And I've made her listen to Paramore several times, and she seems to approve. And the fact that all of the members are christian helps my case too. But I can blast it, and she won't tell me to turn it off (
no way... my parents dont really care about wat i listen to but i told my mom that the never swear, or talk about well disturbing and innapropriate. tell ur parents that. my dad listens to heavy metal so me listening to alternative isnt a big deal to him at all, i think he would rather me listen to his music though! haha he thinks paramore is bad from listening to lik 5 sec onds of a song which doesnt count so he is so wrong!!! paramore is awesome as people (not just music) too they are appropriate in real life and not just in their lyrics :)
people in my family do not understand that i might love paramore slightly more than i love them :_
i mean, and they keep on insulting my personality as if i couldn't choose how to feel about my life. i hate it. i hate them. right now my life is hell. can't i commit suicide?
My mom used to like Paramore. She stopped liking them after Zac and Josh left. She says they're not a band anymore. My dad only like the song We Are Broken. My sister really doesn't like them.

My mom is jelous about Hayley and she likes jeremy... (even she doesn't take it)...
and my dad is in love with Hayley but he ofends her when my mom is nest to him... XD
Honestly my parents are against most of the music I listen to. By now I'm past caring what they think about it....
My mom likes the cover of Brand New Eyes, and she doesn"t mind most of the songs. My dad is just clueless.

my father used to believe that paramore was an american soccer club, so u understand that he doesnt care much about of what i listen.

Why would your parents care about what you're listening to? It's not like Paramores' music is offensive..

My mum loves paramore, she called me the other day to tell me that Hayley was on the radio :L She know's a lot of their songs too. My music teacher hates paramore though, i asked him if i could sing Misguided Ghosts in the concert and he was like, "Paramore? No." bandist or what-_-
My mum sings along and always gets the words wrong. Its hilarious!
